Biggest cities going from Poles to Equator and viceversa
In each of the four directions (see headers), list the cities that will be the largest encountered during your travel. Latitude and population are provided as hints. In other words, for example in the first group, list all the cities that have no larger city further north.
Data from http://www.geonames.org/ - cities with at least 15.000 inhabitants
You will be shown 10 random numbers between 1 and 100 without knowing what's next. Your task is to put them in order! But beware, if a number cannot be placed, the quiz ends...
Fair point on Nanyuki; I extracted data from a big table and cities have a single latitude value, in Nanyuki's case it's slightly north so I guess that's the best way to deal with it anyway although I'm not too sure.
5-10 degrees steps: the number of answers is not very big so by putting steps it'd get even smaller. The idea is to point out all the cities that have no larger cities towards either the pole or the equator
Also it would be a little more fair if you set some "milestones" for lattitude (i.e every 5 or 10 degrees)
