Most of their coins are not in circulation but in coin collections.

And I'm sure they've got some tourist shops in their museums.

They used to have their own local versions of the franc in Monaco or lires in San Marino and the Vatican before the introduction of the euro. These currencies were connected to the French franc and Italian lire. When France and Italy changed their currency for the euro, they just joined as well.

Same with Kosovo. Neither of them have a monetary agreement with the EU, so they don't get to mint their own coins.

Would be great if we could zoom in on the coins - a little hard to see right now.

Well, in that case, you could clearly see the country names on many of these coins. This way, you have to put some effort.

As I said, the pictures are too small. I can't be bothered to take the quiz because my eyes aren't good enough to see the depictions.

I was happy to see there are country names on many of these coins (Andorra, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Monaco, Estonia, Cyprus...), but I guess that defies the idea of this quiz...

It should be easy to identify all of the coins, if you have a big enough screen to see them.
