Reminds me why I'm crap at cryptic crosswords... Enough cryptics-for-beginners clues to get me to 7; enough cryptic-cryptics to keep me to 7.

Funny thing- I think Andorra would work for Laos. Also = and, another possibility = or a. Maybe a bit of a stretch, but aren't all cryptic crossword clues?
