One suggestion, if I may. "Scherzo" is more of a prank than a joke. Joke as a humorous story is "barzelletta" or "battuta" if it's a pun or one liner

one suggestion: right, as in "not left", is destrA, not destrO. for example: "turn right" translates in "gira a DESTRA". destro is usually used to say that somebody is right-handed. amazing quiz anyway! :)

Why is "mille" not accepted for "thousand"? It's been a long time since I attempted to learn Italian.

I'm pretty sure that "estero" means "abroad", and that the adjective for foreign is "straniero" (which is also the word for "foreigner").

I think that "scale" could also be accepted for "stairs", as in Italian we equally use "scala" (singular) or "scale" (plural). Also, the clue gives both versions (singular AND plural)

I love that the words change with every go :) also 'rompicapo' came up as 'conundrum' which, OK, is a type of puzzle, but it's not a direct translation of 'puzzle'.

c'è un errore, "peggio" è la traduzione di "worse" ma da avverbio, da aggettivo invece si direbbe "peggiore".

There's a mistake, "peggio" is the translation of "worse" but as an adverb, as an adjective we would use "peggiore" instead.

"Married" can be "sposato" (male) of "sposata" (female) so I suggest that both of the answers should count
