Country Showdown #11 (Halfway Point!)

I took all the countries to Las Vegas, where they had to gamble for safety. However, it was a different type of gambling, as they had to guess which countries on other teams had the most money so they could steal that money.

For the first time, everyone participated in the challenge!

Anyways, here are the money totals after the gamble.

1st: Team Balkan+: $1,333

1st: Team KiloNova: $1,333

3rd: Team Nickelz: $1,000

3rd: Team McKenzieFam: $1,000

5th: Team hi111223: $777

The challenge was pretty insane. Nickelz stole all of McKenzieFam's money, then McKenzieFam stole all of Nickelz's money. KiloNova went after hi111223's money while Team Balkan+ stole some from Team Nickelz. Nobody decided to go after KiloNova or Balkan+, causing them to win safety.

This means that Nickelz, hi111223, and McKenzieFam are at risk of elimination this episode.

(Also, since the winning teams tied, the advantages must be played as one single advantage, but with double power if they play them correctly.)

Last round, Teams Nickelz, hi111223, and McKenzieFam were at risk.

This round was very interesting, as we had a surprise immunity and a team using an advantage to save another team from elimination.

The first country eliminated with TWENTY-SIX votes is...

Ukraine.

Ireland (Confessional): Oh yeah... I found my clover! I stole it from that twerp Liechtenstein before he walked out. I just wanted to start drama on my team, because it's fun!

The second country eliminated with SIXTEEN votes is...

Greece.

Greece: Wait, what? I can't be eliminated because...

...I have an extra life advantage!

Me: Greece has two lives due to an advantage play. Greece is safe, and the country with the fourth-highest number of votes will be eliminated instead.

The second (for real this time) country is eliminated with TWELVE votes is...

Mexico.

Mexico: Who here is a taco hater?

Argentina: NOOO I'M GONNA STARVE NOW!!!

Nepal: Argentina, you've had enough tacos to last this whole game.

The THIRD country eliminated with TEN votes is...

Ireland...

This would mean that Team hi111223 is eliminated, but they are saved thanks to KiloNova...

KiloNova won the chaos advantage. He got to switch two countries around with two other countries and he got to add any geographic region to his team that is not currently on any team.

Kilo chose to add Kazakhstan to his team, so Kazakhstan has returned to the games.

He chose to swap Saudi Arabia and Romania, sending Saudi to Team Balkan+ and Romania to Team Nickelz.

This is the interesting part... he also chose to swap Ireland with New Zealand, sending Ireland to Team McKenzieFam and New Zealand to Team hi111223.

However, Ireland got eliminated, so Team McKenzieFam doesn't get Ireland and New Zealand is now the sole member of Team hi111223.

This advantage was used to its purpose, as it caused chaos.

New Zealand: What?

Saudi Arabia: I'll tell you which countries on my team have the money if you tell me which countries on your team have the money.

New Zealand: Fine, Monaco, Guyana, and Nepal hold my team's money.

Saudi Arabia: For us, we have India, me, and UAE.

New Zealand: Ok perfect, so we'll steal each other's money, so we win.

Saudi Arabia (Confessional): New Zealand isn't one to lie. I know he's telling the truth.

Team KiloNova

Thailand: Guys, we need to steal from Ireland and Ukraine. I know Turkey is greedy, so I'm pretty sure he'll have a lot of money with him.

Laos: They cloned Ireland and Ukraine, so there's three of them each.

South Africa: Maybe Ukraine 1 and Ireland 2?

Indonesia: Maybe but that sounds like a wild guess. Let's try it.

Team Balkan+

Serbia: LISTEN! WE NEED TO STEAL FROM NICKELZ! HIS TEAM HAS THE MOST MEMBERS AND IS THE BIGGEST THREAT!

Georgia: I agree. I feel like nobody in the middle east will want the money. They're already rich from the oil fields. Maybe three of the non-middle eastern countries will take the money.

Romania: Poland won't want it. I know him pretty well, and he'll assume that everyone thinks that he'll have a lot of money on him, but he won't.

Austria: Who does that leave?

Italy: India, Greece, and Spain.

(Montenegro is asleep, not discussing strategy like the rest of his team is.)

Malta (Confessional): Montenegro is just dead weight on our team. He never does anything. He just sleeps. That's a liability in some challenges.

Things worked out in Team Balkan+ and Team KiloNova's favor. They won the challenge, primarily because nobody stole from either of them.

Five countries on your team will be randomly selected to compete against an opponent on another team in this challenge.

This is the split or steal challenge. In this challenge, you can either play it safe or take a risk.

Since each country only has one opponent country, each user must select either split or steal for each individual country.

If both countries choose SPLIT, then those countries each score one point for your team.

If one country chooses SPLIT, but one chooses STEAL, then the country who chose steal earns two points for their team, while the one who chose split gets nothing

If both countries choose STEAL, then neither country gets the point.

The fun part is, you have no idea what your opponent is going to do.
