May ‘25 CQMB - Thunderbolts*, Fantastic Four, Sgt. Rock, & More

It’s cool that they give one more sneak peek before releasing the movie in theaters. As of the time I’m writing this, Thunderbolts* has 89% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is the best Rotten Tomatoes score in the MCU since Spider-Man: No Way Home. Marvel has really been doing everything in their power to promote this movie, and I truly believe that’s because of its genuine good quality. I’m seeing it tonight, and I’m really excited given all the buzz it’s gotten. Thunderbolts* will be out in theaters on May 2.

It was interesting to see all the new things they decided to reveal. This trailer is really making it seem like this movie won’t have a good ending. Galactus seems like a very serious threat, and this trailer gives off end-of-the-world vibes. We also got a first look at Silver Surfer. A lot of people are excited with the design of the character, but I feel like she looks slightly off. It could just be me. I feel like the CGI is just a little off and could use some refining. Otherwise, this trailer was very interesting, as we got to see each of the members’ powers. The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be in theaters on July 25.

I didn’t really know much about this movie in the first place, but DC has announced that the film will no longer continue production, thus officially canceling it. This is interesting to me given that James Gunn seemed so certain that every movie they announced would be ones that would move forward until it’s release.
