NFL Conference Championship Recap & SUPER BOWL PREDICTIONS

The first game on Sunday was between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos. Broncos QB Jarrett Stidham made an impact early, and scored a touchdown early in the first quarter. The Patriots would tie it up in the second quarter after Stidham fumbled the ball in Denver territory. The game became VERY defensive after this, especially as snowy weather conditions worsened throughout the game. Ultimately, the Patriots were able to score a field goal in the third quarter, and that was enough. The Patriots won 10-7, and are the 2025 AFC champions!

Following this game would be the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks. This game featured back and forth scoring and was interesting throughout. A crucial stop on 4th and goal from the Seahawks allowed them to get the ball back with 4 minutes left, up 31-27. The Seahawks would punt, however, the Rams had 25 seconds to score a touchdown, from their own 7-yard line with no timeouts. The Rams were able to get one completion and spike the ball with ten seconds remaining. On the next play, Rams WR Puka Nacua was able to make a catch near the sideline. However, he was not able to get out of bounds, which allowed the clock to expire. The Seahawks won 31-27, and are the 2025 NFC champions!

The Super Bowl matchup is now set!

It will feature the AFC champion New England Patriots and the NFC champion Seattle Seahawks

The game will be on Sunday, February 8 @ 6:30 PM ET on NBC and streaming on Peacock

The Super Bowl this year will be held at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California (near San Francisco)

This is the second time the Super Bowl will be held at this stadium, Super Bowl 50 (2015-16 season) was the first time

I am very excited for this game, and I think it will be relatively defensive. The Patriots defense has been incredible throughout the playoffs and I think can cause trouble to the Seahawks offense. However, on the other side, the Patriots offense really hasn't proven itself yet (in my opinion). The Patriots offense only scored ten points against the Broncos, and if Bo Nix wasn't hurt, I think the Patriots would have lost that game. I understand that the weather conditions were not favorable, but I don't think that's an excuse for an MVP caliber quarterback to only put up ten points. Meanwhile Seattle's defense is one of the best in the league, and I think that will be a problem for Drake Maye. I think the Seahawks are a more complete team, and I think they will win the game.
