Things that have happened so far this season
1. Colts RB Jonathan Taylor is playing at an MVP level, becoming the first player in NFL history to score 3 touchdowns in 3 straight games against the same team (Titans).
2. The 2025 #1 overall pick and Titans QB Cam Ward hasn't been playing great, but he definitely has potential.
3. This was displayed in Tennessee's only win, a fourth quarter comeback against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5.
4. However, the continuous Titans' failures led to head coach Brian Callahan's firing on October 13.
5. Bengals QB Joe Burrow suffered a turf toe injury in Week 2, which has left him out since, leading Jake Browning to take over.
6. After Jake Browning struggled, the Bengals traded for Joe Flacco (formerly on the Browns), and Flacco has been in the starting role since.
7. The Browns have since started third round rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel.
8. The NFL returned to London and São Paulo this year, but also had its first ever game in Ireland, which featured the Steelers defeating the Vikings in Dublin.
9. The NFL will also return to Germany, and host its first ever game in Spain, which will feature the Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders playing in Madrid.
10. The Packers and Cowboys dueled in Week 4 in Micah Parsons' return to Dallas, but the game resulted in a 40-40 tie. This is the first tie game since 2022, and the first since the new overtime rules were implemented this year (giving the opportunity for both teams to possess the ball).
11. Jaguars kicker Cam Little has just set the record for the longest successful field goal IN NFL HISTORY. Little made a 68-yard field goal in the Jaguars' week 9 win against the Raiders. The previous record was 66 yards, made by Ravens kicker Justin Tucker in 2021.
12. 49ers kicker Jake Moody struggled in the early weeks of the season. After being cut, he was picked up by the Bears. In Moody's debut on the Bears against the Commanders, he made 4 out of 5 field goals, including the game winner.
13. The Giants benched QB Russell Wilson after struggling and starting 0-3. Rookie QB Jaxson Dart has been starting since.
14. Bad Bunny has been announced as the Super Bowl LX halftime performer, which will be played in Santa Clara, California (near San Francisco).

These trades are happening as I am writing this blog, but here are some of the ones that have happened ahead of the deadline:

3. Jets trade CB Sauce Gardner to Colts
4. In exchange the Colts traded WR Adonai Mitchell (and two first round picks)
5. Saints trade WR Rashid Shaheed to Seahawks
6. Jets trade DT Quinnen Williams to Cowboys
Injuries :(
Giving a quick shoutout to players who have suffered season-ending injuries, and hoping they recover soon.
1. Giants RB Cam Skattebo
2. Packers TE Tucker Kraft
3. Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill
4. Commanders RB Austin Ekeler
5. Giants WR Malik Nabers
6. Chargers T Joe Alt
7. Commanders WR Luke McCaffrey
8. Commanders CB Marshon Lattimore
World Series
This is a football blog, but I had to give a shoutout to the World Series this year. Honestly, this is some of the best baseball that I've ever watched, and made for a very entertaining series.
Predictions
This NFL season has been very fun to watch so far. It truly feels like anyone can beat anyone; there have been so many upsets already! But what do you think? Any new predictions as the season has progressed? Who's winning the Super Bowl? How's your favorite team doing?
