The End of Game Blogging

I joined JetPunk in 2021, and did it just for quiz taking. I loved taking quizzes, and I aimed to get all the badges. However, then I discovered Interesting Facts, and I wanted to get a fact on there so bad. So for months, I aimed and aimed and checked every day. By August I had eight facts on it. However, the IF pages is not what this blog is about. One day, a certain car brand loving JetPunker posted an invitation to a little game called "United States Battle Royale." It was the first blog I ever read, and I signed up and I had fun doing it. I thought that all blogs except game blogs were bad.

I loved doing the United States Battle Royale game, and then European Countries Battle Royale came along and it was even better, until it was cancelled of course. All the other blogs I saw just as text and boring text, no game, no excitement. That is when I discovered who Capybarra is. He has more blogs than any other JetPunker, and they are game blogs. His blogs alone made up 25-45% of the RUB at their peak. So I was determined to join JetPunk Mafia, his latest series, but for some reason I was thinking more about my own debut, which came in the form of my own season of United States Battle Royale, which had 8 less players than the OG due to me being a rather unknown, and after its success, I made a massive schedule to post daily game blogs EVERY DAY from November to June.

Then I posted a mini series, Canadian Provinces Battle Royale, the very day after USBR ended. It filled up same day, but I got criticism for making game blogs from guys like ItzIngenious and BautyArg, the latter who made a blog criticizing them. Terribly sorry Bauty, but I lashed out on that blog. Hard. I called it the worst blog ever written, and hated on you for it. But it told me to diversify and instead of starting the miniseries instantly I made four blogs of maps I made instead, and diversified into map blogs and more. I made game blogs and even finished European Countries Battle Royale, but I saw participation in game blogs was rapidly waning.

I also participated in a game blog, Total Drama Action by Capybarra/CAP12345. And I thought it was the best. thing. ever. But, nobody seemed that into it, and I realized how much most people, especially those not in the game, despised it. And I can see why. Why would you want to watch a repetitive game over and over again? Well it was fun while it lasted.

On May 8, 2026, a day that will live in infamy, Quizmaster abruptly deleted groups, friends, and soon, DMs. Game blogs such as USBR, World Conflict 26, and Total Drama JetPunk heavily relied on them for voting, so without them they will collapse. Solutions like private quizzes were proposed, but will that really work? I say no. Motivation will absolutely die and engagement will fall to tragically sad levels.

We can build a new future, one without game blogs in it. Blogs such as Country Iceberg (very fire), or JetPunk Magazine are what we need, as well as what ChatGPT called the greatest recent blog, BautyArg's Christian Denominations Part 1. We need informative or fun blogs that don't clog the RUB up and significant effort is put in them. So brothers, join me in making this future.

Game blogs are fun, as me and many other participants would say. I met my JetPunk BFFs, like BautyArg, Capybarra, Froggodoggo, Aragorn, Anonymousbear25, et cetera et cetera, there. I had a blast participating. But as a USBR and ECBR host, it gets highly repetitive and people can get highly enraged from them. Plus, they require many episodes very quickly, causing good blogs to get buried in the chaos

Username change limits: You now have 5 changes, and I used four :sob:. Is there any way to beg the Quizmaster for more?

My MB Ban: On May 8, 2026, in protest of the deletion of Groups, i got Banned from the Message Board. Anyone know how to appeal this?
