+5

In this Blog, we will have a look about using Artificial Intelligence like ChatGPT & Co. in Blogs. Where is the use sensible? When do you not should use it?

When can AI help you?

When is AI to create blogs okay?

HTML-Coding

If you don‘t now really how HTML works, ChatGPT can help you explaining how it works - and create full codes for it.

But attention: Some more ambitious codes may break the design and rules from the website. So check the preview before publishing!

Search for Ideas

If you don’t have any ideas about what you can write, you can ask AI for ideas.

Translation / Language troubles

If you want to translate your blog and don‘t know how to translate a word or sentence, you can ask ChatGPT. It may provide a better translation then Google Translate etc., because ChatGPT also includes the information from the context.

Research help

AI can give you helpful information if you want to search for something in the internet, but you can‘t find anything. AI can always provide you an answer. It is recommended to verify the information from the AI with sources from the internet, because sometimes AI can give you wrong information.

Tips for improving

The AI can give you a feedback and say what you can improve.

When isn't AI use recommended?

Writing whole blogs

Writing whole blogs with AI is lazy.

You shouldn´t write blogs with AI because...

- The blogs aren´t authentic and have an "AI-slang".

- We can ask the AI by ourselves.

Weak Points of AI

AI has also some weak point, e.g. limited emotional understanding (because they don´t have feelings) or factual errors.

Use AI for support, but let your personality shine through!

I agree with these points. AI writing tends to sound super descriptive and uses plenty of words but somehow feels largely devoid of meaning. Or at least, that's how it often sounds to me.

As for factual errors, it can be saying something extremely confidently but totally incorrect

Regarding AI use in general, a quote that's always stuck out to me is: "If you couldn't be bothered to write it, why should anyone bother to read it?" (Drew Gooden). Anyone can tell a computer to make them something. If something's really important to you, then make it yourself!

For real—I would say, just avoid using AI in general.

I don't like using AI because of how bad it is for the environment.
