JetPunk Survivor #16 - REBOOT

After several months of waiting, JetPunk Survivor has returned! I'm so excited to continue this series with the final eight! I hope we can finish this season strong! If you are one of the remaining eight contestants, please notify me that you are still active on JetPunk! Once everyone has confirmed that they would like to continue, we can proceed with the game!

Unfortunately, this series came to a complete stop when I gained too much on my plate to continue with the series. I just couldn't find the time to create blogs, and when I did find free time, I used it on some of my other interests rather than JetPunk. I sincerely apologize for not notifying you guys about this and leaving this series hanging. You guys put a lot of effort just to make it to the merge, and I carelessly wasted those efforts by holding off the series.

When I became less busy, I returned to the site late May - early June. However, I was hesitant to continue blogging especially since the last blog was months ago (March to be exact) and interest in the series may have been lost. My motivation to continue the series was not high. I still took and made quizzes, as well as participated in the Daily Trivia challenge. However, very recently, I decided to return to blogging, so let the games commence!

The contestants were faced with two challenges:

1) Write a response to each of the five prompts in nine words.

2) Choose an option. (I. E. purple or yellow) The people who are in the minority gain points.

I ultimately decided that challenge 2 should not affect who gets immunity this round. Here's why:

a) Alliances could split their options between Choice A and Choice B so at least one of them is guaranteed to earn points. I would prefer if the voting was alliance-based but the challenges are skill-based.

b) If scenario a was not happening, then challenge 2 would be luck-based rather than skill-based.

So only challenge 1 will be in play.

Remember, each contestant wrote a response for each prompt in nine words:

1. What would you do if you became the next president?

2. Describe JetPunk in nine words.

3. What did Kansas say when he lost to Iowa?

4. How will you beat the weather this season?

5. Ohio captured one of the states. Which one, and why?

Then each response was labeled A through H and both viewers and contestants rated the responses from best to worst.

In this instance, B would gain 8 points, C gets 7, H gets 6, all the way to E = 1.

I added the totals for all contestants. The one with the most points gets immunity!

If I made any calculation errors, please let me know ASAP.

The five numbers indicate the scores you got from each of your answers. The lowest score for a single answer was 21, while the highest was 61.

-Hopefully there will be no more hiatuses, but if something does come up, I will inform you guys.

-If you are a remaining contestant, please tell me that you would like to continue ASAP. I'm hoping this won't happen, but if you would like to withdraw from the game, that is fine but please notify me. We cannot continue until everyone has either confirmed or withdrawn.

-Voting begins when episode #17 comes out! Jetpunker180 has immunity and cannot be voted out!

-One more thing! A while back, some of you guys took a risk in order to gain an immunity idol. However, if I'm not mistaken, I counted that 5-6 of the 8 contestants have an idol, which is completely unrealistic by Survivor standards. Therefore, I'm afraid that all idols will be nullified. Perhaps there is a chance another idol may be up for grabs, but for now, no idols.
