U.S. States Viewer Voting #19

The Wild West was up for elimination! One of them will be eliminated today!

NOTE: I am bringing back voting pitches and states having the ability to talk, but I am not bringing lore back entirely.

This series is not taking another hiatus! The series must go on!

Last time the Wild West was up for elimination...

(Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming)

Colorado is safe with 5 votes.

Idaho and Montana are safe with 4 votes.

Wyoming is safe with 3 votes.

Wyoming: Thank goodness! I thought everybody forgot I existed.

Colorado (blushing): I didn't forget about you.

Nevada, Utah, one of you will be eliminated.

Nevada: How am I in the bottom two? I have Las Vegas?

Utah: You shouldn't be surprised. That city is way too overrated.

Each team will choose ONE team that they want to be safe from elimination this round. The team that they choose will choose the next team, and so on, until one team remains.

Whoever does not get chosen will be up for elimination!

Since the Wild West was up for elimination last time, they are safe and get to choose first!

Wyoming: Alright guys. Who do we choose?

Montana: I say we just choose randomly.

Nevada: Yeah! Gambling for the win!

Idaho: Hold on. I have a better idea.

Colorado: What is it?

Idaho: Hint: look at the map with all of the states still in. There are a lot of western states left.

Nevada: Hold on, are you saying-

Idaho: Yes. Let's make an alliance with all of the states west of the Rocky Mountains.

Wyoming: So that's us, Washington, Oregon, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Idaho: Precisely. And they're all on the Outsiders team. So let's choose them!

Montana: I'll talk to them about the alliance later on.

Nevada: We made our decision to save... the Outsiders!

Gekko0923: Alright then! Outsiders, you are safe from elimination, but now must choose the next team to be immune!

Alaska: Does anyone have any ideas?

Hawaii: Nah. I'm chill with anyone.

Vermont: I want to save my New England friends!

Oregon: So the Rebels or the Underdogs? Both of them have New England members.

Vermont: Maybe the Underdogs. I'm closer with New Hampshire and Maine than I am with Massachusetts.

Alaska: Yeah. Besides, I heard that Massachusetts was having beef with the other New England states. What's up with that?

Oregon: What? How did YOU know that?

Alaska: Canada talks too loudly.

Washington: Valid points. Also I feel bad for the Underdogs for already losing two members.

Hawaii: Alright then. We choose the Underdogs!

Vermont: Wait! Underdogs! Can you choose the Rebels to be safe next?

Gekko0923: We'll see, Vermont! Underdogs, it's time for you guys to decide. Only three options left!

Kentucky: Welp, you heard the little Ben and Jerry's man. Saving the Rebels would be good for us. Iowa and I are also close with Illinois.

Maine: No! I don't wanna save that prick Massachusetts!

Iowa: Why not?

Maine: He's always been a jerk, especially in the past!

New Hampshire: Yeah. I agree.

Kentucky: Oh. Come on, you guys. Can't you move on from that?

Maine: No! What he did was... too much. And he hasn't changed.

Iowa: Well, if not the Rebels, who do you intend to save?

Maine: Um...

New Hampshire: Perhaps the Cardinals? They also have only four members. Maybe we should save them the misery of losing again?

Kentucky: Hold on now! Let's think this through. Maine, if the Rebels lose, there's no guarantee that Massachusetts goes home like you want.

Iowa: I agree. You don't have any control over the viewers.

Maine: Well, I should!

Kentucky: Iowa and I agree to save the Rebels. You two want the Cardinals. Someone has to flip.

Maine: Hah. I guess there's no way to-

New Hampshire: Fine. We'll save the Rebels.

Maine: What!? New Hampshire? You traitor!

New Hampshire: I'm not directly betraying you, Maine. Plus, your bickering with Kentucky is only tearing the team apart.

Iowa: Yeah, I agree. Our team already is lacking in numbers, we should at least be united.

Gekko0923: If the majority of your team chooses the Rebels, then they are safe! Rebels, it's up to you now! Only the Cardinals and the Avengers remain! Whoever you do not choose will be up for elimination! So, who are you saving?

Texas: Florida, do you wanna save Georgia? Y'all, we should choose the Avengers and...

Florida: Nah. Georgia is dead to me.

Massachusetts: Aw. The Southern states having problems? There's no way I can rela-

Florida: Shut up! When I saw the Southern states get picked off one by one in the early game, I knew us Southern states had to stick together. But Georgia, she betrayed us and sided with California!

Texas: Man, I know that hurts, but-

Florida: But what? She needs to go. I'm voting to save the Cardinals. At least the Carolinas are loyal to me.

Minnesota: I don't know what to say. I abstain.

Illinois: Why are you always so neutral on things! I'm gonna take charge and say no, I support the Avengers over the Cardinals. At least there are some decent states over there.

Florida: I hate you and your stupid politicans!

Illinois: Same here. There's a reason you're at the bottom of the nation, Florida. Cause you're built like a bottom.

Massachusetts: Damn, Regina, I mean, Illinois. Don't be like that. For once, I'll agree with you, Florida.

Florida: What about you, Texas?

Texas: I already said that I'm saving the Avengers.

Illinois: Since Minnesota abstained, that leaves Michigan to break the tie. Just say you'll support me already.

Michigan: Stop trying and keep crying, Illinois. I say we save the Cardinals.

Massachusetts: Attaboy, Michigan. Our "M" alliance stays strong!

Minnesota: Yeah, I no longer abstain and vote for the Cardinals as well.

Gekko0923: So that's a 4-2 vote to save the Cardinals! Avengers, you know what that means. One of you will become the 22nd state voted out of USVV!

North Carolina: Yes! We did it!

South Carolina: Oh man. That means we can't eliminate NC yet.

Maryland: Welp, we can't get rid of the Carolina feud yet, but at least we're okay.

West Virginia: Yeah! I hope Virginia goes, so the real Virginia will stay!

The voting method for this is...

MIDDLEMAN

There are five states. You will rank them, assigning them a value from 1-5.

Here is an example:

1. Arkansas

2. Indiana

3. Nebraska

4. Oklahoma

5. Tennessee

But there's a TWIST. The state with the third-highest average, aka the MIDDLEMAN, will be eliminated. For example, Nebraska would be eliminated in the example below:

1. Arkansas (average 2.6)

2. Indiana (average 2.8)

3. Nebraska (average 3.0)

4. Oklahoma (average 3.2)

5. Tennessee (average 3.4)

So essentially, the state you are ranking THIRD is the state you want to be eliminated. Ranking a state first or last is the best, while second and fourth are in between.

I will be consistently updating the averages in the comments so you can VOTE STRATEGICALLY.

If your favorite state is currently second place, rank it first or second to continue lowering its average. In turn, if you want the state in second place eliminated, rank them fourth or fifth to boost their average ranking.

Arizona
