JetPunk Username Changes

Starting on May 13, QM has made some updates to username rules for the sake of JetPunk’s recent popularity growth. Every account is allowed a maximum of 5 username changes. Also, any name that’s ever been taken is now unavailable to anyone but that user. When a username is changed, the user’s url is also altered. Redirects are automatically handled, so if someone clicks on the old name url, they’ll be led to the new one. Lastly, AI reviews all usernames for vulgarity. QM observed that “unfortunately, there was a lot”. Overall, these are pretty minor updates, but many users debate wether to be happy or dissatisfied with them.
