Global Leaderboard
Hello and Happy New Year ! Geography Snap has 189 game modes, 45 of which were here before the November 21st update. Every game mode has an All-Time leaderboard, which shows the 5 fastest players and their best times.
So let's combine all of these leaderboards into one ! First, let's assign a number of points according to each rank :
1st place : 5 points
2nd place : 4 points
3rd place : 3 points
4th place : 2 points
5th place : 1 point
And then, let's give the Snap players these points according to the leaderboards ranks they are in !
By doing so, we get this global leaderboard for the month of December 2024 !

No one new, no one back, and no one got ousted of the leaderboard !
- anahita, Dontforget, Jilb & smirkymyjens all have 7 points, but anahita, Dontforget & smirkymyjens all have one 3rd place and Jilb doesn't.
- BI & Chaddius both have 4 points, but Chaddius has two 4th places, and Batman23 has only one.
- Hageball, GameyTV, MarcelVos, merpell, nimbru & yawnofthedead all have 3 points, but GameyTV, merpell & nimbru all have one 3rd place and Hageball & yawnofthedead both have one 4th place.
- Albmaralb, backstreetben, hfgsy & MarcelVos all have 2 points, but Albmaralb & backstreetben both have one 4th place, and hfgsy & MarcelVos have only 5th places.
Ranks Stats
The player who's the 1st in the most categories is... SilverDog, being first in 33 game modes.
The player who's the 2nd in the most categories is... Changedaworld, being second in 33 game modes.
The player who's the 3rd in the most categories is... Dagod, being third in 29 game modes.
The player who's the 4th in the most categories is... Dagod too, being fourth in 9 game modes.
The player who's the 5th in the most categories is... Sammyboi, being fifth in 7 game modes.

Out of all 225 All-Time top-5s times, 2 were improved, but no World Record ! Here they are, broken down by game mode !

That's 0.0 second that was cut off during December...
Ever since the first Snap Stats blog (June 2022), a total of
837.8 seconds, or 13 minutes and 57.8 seconds
have been cut off from the sum of every old top-5 times, and
206.4 seconds, or 3 minutes and 26.4 seconds
from the sum of every old 1st place.
Conclusion
In conclusion, this month has been chill. Nothing that extraordinary, but it was expected. After all, it's December, people can party !

One for the "old" game modes only (this one)
Another one for all 189 game modes (which will come in the next days). Indeed in the new game modes, you did get a lot of top-5, but in old, just 2, so that is why you didn't get that higher up on the leaderboard :)
