Geography Snap Statistics (February 2024) : The New Game Modes

Leaderboard
There are three leaderboards in every game mode of Geography Snap. More precisely, the 5 fastest players per day, per week and since the beginning of Geography Snap (well, only since October 26th 2020, not 25th). Well, the player Changedaworld invented a points system according to the rank of a player in any leaderboard. Here it is :
1st place : 7 points
2nd place : 5 points
3rd place : 3 points
4th place : 2 points
5th place : 1 point
So, if we take every game mode, take the 5 best players in these All-Time leaderboards, and assign points according to their ranks, we get this leaderboard for the month of February 2024 :

Here comes a new player : zWallaby ! With 30 points in one month, I see. Batman23/Dagod style. But two people got out : HeyItsMeJJ (well that was as short as it could have been) and Luc5.
- Batman23 & zWallaby both have 30 points, but Batman23 has a 3rd place and zWallaby doesn't (a tiebreaker with 30 points, are you kidding me ?).
- Dontforget, smirkymyjens & yawnofthedead all have 9 points, and while they all have exactly one 3rd place, yawnofthedead has three 4th places and Dontforget & smirkymyjens have only two each.
- cathlete, GameyTV, Jilb, merpell, nimbru & RipRed all have 3 points, but GameyTV, merpell, nimbru & RipRed all have a 3rd place, cathlete has a 4th place and Jilb has only 5th places.
- Albmaralb, hfgsy, Kirboi, PowerGuiido, pseudocraul, shinboy, sleazyg82 & zakatan all have 2 points, but Albmaralb, Kirboi, shinboy & sleazyg82 all have a 4th place, and hfgsy, PowerGuiido, pseudocraul & zakatan don't.

The player who's the 2nd in the most categories is... Changedaworld, being second in 134 game modes.
The player who's the 3rd in the most categories is... Dagod, being third in 137 game modes.
The player who's the 4th in the most categories is... BI, being fourth in 42 game modes.
The player who's the 5th in the most categories is... BI too, being fifth in 42 game modes.

The World Record that has been the most improved during February is the Capitals & Biggest Cities Easy game mode, where it was brought from 4.3 seconds to 3.7 seconds ! That's 0.6 second that was cut off !
The game mode where the sum of every time in the All-Time top 5 has been the most improved is Flag-Shapes, Shapes & Biggest Cities Medium, where an unbelievable 19.2 seconds have been taken off !
If we add every top-5 time in every game mode, we get to...
11013.4 seconds, or 3 hours, 3 minutes and 33.4 seconds !
That's 99.5 seconds that were cut off during February !
If we only take the 1st time in every All-Time, we get to...
1634.9 seconds, or 27 minutes and 14.9 seconds !
That's 1.6 second that was cut off during February !
Conclusion
In conclusion, this month was awesome ! It saw perhaps the biggest improment of all-time on a single game mode, and at this pace, the 3-hour barrier will be broken in April or May ! Stay tuned for the next blogs !
