Geography Snap Statistics (January 2024) : The New Game Modes

Leaderboard
There are three leaderboards in every game mode of Geography Snap. More precisely, the 5 fastest players per day, per week and since the beginning of Geography Snap (well, only since October 26th 2020, not 25th). Well, the player Changedaworld invented a points system according to the rank of a player in any leaderboard. Here it is :
1st place : 7 points
2nd place : 5 points
3rd place : 3 points
4th place : 2 points
5th place : 1 point
So, if we take every game mode, take the 5 best players in these All-Time leaderboards, and assign points according to their ranks, we get this leaderboard for the month of January 2024 :

For the third month in a row, we have one in and one out : HeyItsMeJJ joined the leaderboard and Silcky02 was ousted.
- backstreetben & yawnofthedead both have 9 points, but yawnofthedead has a 3rd place and backstreetben doesn't.
- anahita & muskox both have 7 points, but anahita has a 3rd place and muskox doesn't.
- Chaddius, Hageball & Mred2025 all have 4 points, but Chaddius & Hageball both have a 4th place and Mred2025 doesn't.
- cathlete, GameyTV, Jilb, merpell, nimbru, RipRed & shinboy all have 3 points, but GameyTV, merpell, nimbru, RipRed & shinboy all have a 3rd place, cathlete has a 4th place and Jilb has only 5th places.
- Albmaralb, HeyItsMeJJ, hfgsy, Kirboi, Penguinish, PowerGuiido, pseudocraul, RLJ, sleazyg82 & zakatan all have 2 points, but Albmaralb, Kirboi, Penguinish & sleazyg82 all have a 4th place, and HeyItsMeJJ, hfgsy, PowerGuiido, pseudocraul, RLJ & zakatan don't.

The World Record that has been the most improved during January is the Countries, Capitals, Flags & Flag-Shapes Hard game mode, where it was brought from 15.3 seconds to 12.8 seconds ! That's 2.5 seconds that were cut off !
The game mode where the sum of every time in the All-Time top 5 has been the most improved is Flags, Flag-Shapes & Biggest Cities Hard, where 8.7 seconds have been taken off !
If we add every top-5 time in every game mode, we get to...
11112.9 seconds, or 3 hours, 5 minutes and 12.9 seconds !
That's 126.3 seconds that were cut off during January !
If we only take the 1st time in every All-Time, we get to...
1636.5 seconds, or 27 minutes and 16.5 seconds !
That's 19.4 seconds that were cut off during January !
Conclusion
In conclusion, this month was exceptional ! Although there were like a trillion more improvements, for some reason less time was cut off, but still, 2 minutes, like- 2 MINUTES ! The 3-hour barrier is ready to be broken soon ! What a fantastic way to start the year !
