Global Leaderboard
Hello ! Geography Snap has 189 game modes, 45 of which were here before the November 21st update. Every game mode has an All-Time leaderboard, which shows the 5 fastest players and their best times.
So let's combine all of these leaderboards into one ! First, let's assign a number of points according to each rank :
1st place : 5 points
2nd place : 4 points
3rd place : 3 points
4th place : 2 points
5th place : 1 point
And then, let's give the Snap players these points according to the leaderboards ranks they are in !
By doing so, we get this global leaderboard for the month of May 2025 !

- KonevRokossovsky & Sammyboi both have 20 points, but KonevRokossovsky has 9 4th places, and Sammyboi has 6
- akapbh & Chaddius both have 4 points, but akapbh has a 3rd place, and Chaddius doesn't.
- BI, Dontforget, nimbru & yawnofthedead all have 3 points, but & nimbru has a 3rd place and BI, Dontforget & yawnofthedead don't.
- Albmaralb, backstreetben, GameyTV, hfgsy, MarcelVos & merpell all have 2 points, but Albmaralb, backstreetben, GameyTV & merpell all have a 4th place, and hfgsy & MarcelVos don't.
Ranks Stats
The player who's the 1st in the most categories is... Changedaworld, being first in 32 game modes.
The player who's the 2nd in the most categories is... SilverDog, being second in 32 game modes.
The player who's the 3rd in the most categories is... Dagod, being third in 39 game modes.
The player who's the 4th in the most categories is... KonevRokossovsky, being fourth in 9 game modes.
The player who's the 5th in the most categories are... Jilb & Sammyboi, both being fifth in 8 game modes.

Out of all 225 All-Time top-5s times, just 4 were improved, including 2 World Records ! Here they are, broken down by game mode !

If we only take the 1st time in every All-Time, we get to...
292.1 seconds, or 4 minutes and 52.1 seconds !
That's 0.6 second that was cut off during May !
Ever since the first Snap Stats blog (June 2022), a total of
870.7 seconds, or 14 minutes and 30.7 seconds
have been cut off from the sum of every old top-5 times, and
222.0 seconds, or 3 minutes and 42.0 seconds
from the sum of every old 1st place.
Conclusion
In conclusion, this month has been... deceiving, but it had to happen. But let's not be sad ! After all, this blog series has been going on for 3 years now, and I'm very thankful that there are still some improvements and World Records and new players and other things happening !
