Geography Snap Statistics (October 2024) : The New Game Modes

Leaderboard
There are three leaderboards in every game mode of Geography Snap. More precisely, the 5 fastest players per day, per week and since the beginning of Geography Snap (well, only since October 26th 2020, not 25th). Well, the player Changedaworld invented a points system according to the rank of a player in any leaderboard. Here it is :
1st place : 7 points
2nd place : 5 points
3rd place : 3 points
4th place : 2 points
5th place : 1 point
So, if we take every game mode, take the 5 best players in these All-Time leaderboards, and assign points according to their ranks, we get this leaderboard for the month of October 2024 :

- J3n, smirkymyjens & yawnofthedead both have 8 points, but smirkymyjens & yawnofthedead both have a 3rd place and J3n doesn't.
- CaptWillard & Chaddius both have 4 points, but CaptWillard has a 3rd place and Chaddius doesn't.
- cathlete, Hageball, GameyTV, MarcelVos, merpell & nimbru all have 3 points, but GameyTV, merpell & nimbru all have a 3rd place, cathlete & Hageball both have a 4th place and MarcelVos has only 5th places.
- Albmaralb, hfgsy, muskox, pseudocraul, RipRed & sleazyg82 all have 2 points, but Albmaralb, RipRed & sleazyg82 all have a 4th place, and hfgsy, muskox & pseudocraul don't.

The player who's the 2nd in the most categories is... Changedaworld, being second in 146 game modes.
The player who's the 3rd in the most categories is... Dagod, being third in 122 game modes.

The player who's the 5th in the most categories is... Jilb too, being fifth in 37 game modes.

The World Record that has been the most improved during October is the Capitals, Flags & Shapes Easy game mode, where it was brought from 3.7 seconds to 3.6 seconds ! That's 0.1 second that was cut off !
The game mode where the sum of every time in the All-Time top 5 has been the most improved is Countries, Capitals, Flags & Flag-Shapes Medium, where 0.9 seconds have been taken off !
If we add every top-5 time in every game mode, we get to...
10714.8 seconds, or 2 hours, 58 minutes and 34.8 seconds !
That's 3.3 seconds that were cut off during October !
If we only take the 1st time in every All-Time, we get to...
1625.0 seconds, or 27 minutes and 5.0 seconds !
That's 0.1 second that was cut off during October !
Conclusion
In conclusion, this month was... eh, let's say it, bad. 3.3 seconds is really not great, but at least a WR was broken. Now, this blog is important for another reason. We... are... finally... UP TO DATE !
All the blogs that were waiting to be created and published... are now created and published, so that means that we can finally come back to a normal schedule after almost 2 years !
I have to say, I'm really sorry that I've made you wait for that long. No excuse, just a lack of motivation and a dumb decision on my part, to wait, and wait, and not do anything. I promise, this was the last time this had happened !
