Hi!
Hello everyone, welcome to the 2025 Ugadi Blog, or the third Telugu Community Blog.
Today, March 30th, is Telugu New Year, called ఉగాది (ugādi) in Telugu. Last year, Ugadi was on April 9th! In the traditional Telugu calendar, there are 60 years which repeat as a cycle. This Ugadi is the beginning of the year విశ్వావసు (viśvāvasu), which previously happened in 1965 and will happen again in 2085. This is a special new year on JetPunk as it is the third year a whole Telugu community celebrates here together. After our second year, this year we will be able to reflect on our continued, more long term progress that we've done. You might also be able to find the Telugu version of this blog soon, but don't count on it. The previous time we promised that and didn't deliver. The next time we did the same thing. Oops. And every time so far it's been late. Oops. This time, we'll get it out on time! (Neo's Note: We didn't get it out on time.)
In this blog, we'll will go over the accomplishments of Telugu JetPunk, the last year's accomplishments, its current stage, future, some statistics, and each of its main members will also have a section to introduce ourselves and our plans for this community in the next year.
So if you're a Telugu speaker, interested in this community, or wondering why a year in review blog was supposed to be published in March, this blog is for you!
Ugadi and Telugu Years
Ugadi
Ugadi is the Telugu and Kannada New Year, based on a lunisolar calendar followed in both communities, with a lot of religious customs tied to it, and it commonly falls in March or April. Telugu people prepare a dish called "Ugadi pacchadi," which has great symbolic significance and is made with vepa puvvu (the flower of the Azirachta indica) and maamidikaya (raw mango). It has all the six primary tastes in it, which is intended to remind people that they will have all kinds of experiences over the coming year and that there will be good things to take from bitter experiences and vice-versa. Some believe that the first taste that you get out of Ugadi pacchadi reflects how the next year will go for you. Another important part of the whole Ugadi experience is decking up the house, in particular the doorway with thoranalu (arches made often of mango leaves) and muggulu (floor art made with chalk, often colourful). This time, we celebrated Ugadi on the 30th of March, which marked the beginning of the విశ్వావసు (viśvāvasu) year. The next time we enter విశ్వావసు (viśvāvasu) will be 60 years from now, since the cycle of the Telugu calendar is 60 years long.
Telugu Years
By thread
As stated, today marks the beginning of the year విశ్వావసు (viśvāvasu), and it is the 39th in the cycle of sixty. This year we decided to add this new subsection elaborating on the cultural aspect of Ugadi and this year in particular, as each of the years has its own characteristics that can be conveyed through their name. An interesting observation we made is that the previous three years our community has existed, the qualities described by the years' names have been quite accurate to our undertakings. However, this year is not named after a clearly defined concept, and I actually couldn't find a consensus on what it means as there are many interpretations, which just shows the complexity of this subject. However, from what I gather the name refers to some good happening in the world, and it is generally considered a positive year especially in contrast to the previous year, krōdhi, whose name literally means anger. The philosophy behind this system is astrological, and so are these predictions. Another agreed upon characteristic of this year is that it will be good for financial prosperity, as another example of the types of astrological predictions made. There are also traits that people born in a year of a given name are said to have.
Telugu JetPunk's Third Year
By Surajrocks99
Unlike last year where we went through each month, this year we'll be looking at a few important events that shaped Telugu JetPunk!
First, we must address a really interesting incident which occurred at the end of last year, near the beginning of April.
Following the second Ugadi blog, the moderator council decided to sell, ahem I mean rebrand, the Discord server from Telugu to Tamil. This was caused by a sudden increase on Tamil JetPunk, and their money was too irresistible for the moderators of this server. Beginning on 1 April 2024, the re-branding lasted for four days, before the original owner realised that he had been scammed by the Tamilians, resulting in a reversing of the changes. Incontrovertibly, indubitably, periodically, systematically, grammatically, this has taught the mod team its lesson, and it shall never occur again.
A very notable event in May was Noivern joining the Telugu JetPunk Discord server. As mentioned in the previous blog, he had been enthusiastic to join the community but we lost touch with him as he couldn't join the Discord server where most of us were active. But on one fine day at the end of May he joined the server to everyone's surprise, quickly becoming a regular user of the server and more active in creating quizzes and such as well.
The following month, in order to increase quiz productivity, a quiz competition was initiated, with an announcement given by the Thread of Nature, with the theme being water. Multiple entries were submitted by members of the server, including Neodymium, TheNatureThread, Surajrocks99 and Noivern, with the latter becoming the winner with this quiz, and becoming the recipient of a gold medal for his contribution. With just five quizzes to be graded, it was anticipated that the results would be revealed swiftly, yet this was not the case, as the reveal of the results was postponed for several months, with Neodymium's blog in December.
On 1 June 2024, following an argument concerning the subjects of language death, the usage of pure Telugu scientific phrases and so-called "psuedo-intellectual" behaviour, businessbicycle, formerly known at the time as AratiPandu, left the server. It was during this time where both Argonite and TheNatureThread left the server, and this combined exodus led to a lasting impact, with a heavy decline in progress and productivity following these events. Noivern had the misfortune of entering the community at this turbulent time, regardless he continued to participate in the community and has established himself as a crucial part of the community, making up for some of the lost activity over the past year. Fortunately, businessbicycle temporarily returned on the 8th of November, 2024, before returning permanently. The server was predicted to recover around this time (March/April), yet it seems that prediction might have borne fruitless.
Sudden Death was introduced onto JetPunk on the 8th of November 2024, marking the beginning of a new style of quiz creation. Sudden Death has spread to Telugu JetPunk, with over fifteen quizzes being published in the language. The first Telugu-language Sudden Death quiz was ఆంధ్ర నగరాలు - ఆకస్మిక మరణం, published three days following the introduction of Sudden Death upon the platform. This quiz particularly concerns the cities of Andhra Pradesh. తెలంగాణ నగరాలు - ఆకస్మిక మరణం was released on the same day. Until the moment of writing this, sixteen different quizzes have been published by numerous creators; pertaining to the aforementioned genre. It is incontrovertibly true that the expanse of the genre has yet to widen, with its full potential still unrealised months later. Telugu-language Sudden Death quizzes are still in its infancy, but it is anticipated that the situation will be completely transformed by the succeeding year’s Ugadi!
Unfortunately, on 7 June 2024, two of the most significant members of the Telugu community on JetPunk, both of them also founding members, departed from the Discord server. These two are ArgoniteS7 and TheNatureThread, and their departure was by no means insignificant. The exact cause is complicated, with a plethora of different events happening around that time, contributing to their collective departure, with Argonite citing his lack of freedom upon the server, while Thread stated that the server was unhealthy. Hitherto, neither of them have returned to the server, nor displayed signs of returning.
QueenOfAwe15, once an incredibly active member upon this server, announced that she would be leaving Discord for a relatively prolonged period of time, albeit she stated it would be at least eight years. Since then, she has disabled her account and remained inactive. We still await her return months later, but it appears that we will have to continue waiting for a decade or so.
Starting in early 2025, the Telugu section became embroiled in the Telugu-Greek war.
This following subsection was somewhat taken from recent Parota interview, and written by Neodymium
Millions must mobilize. We must transform all domestic quiz production to Telugu. Outproduction is imperative. Please report to your nearest Telugu JetPunker as soon as possible. Together, we can achieve this great victory.
Jokes aside, it's just a friendly competition between the two sections that first become declared sometime in February. It's a competition for Telugu and Greek to compete on which makes the most quizzes, blogs, and charts. Both sections' statuses are similar: Both are unfeatured languages with a language community of some kind, (as of last year) they had a similar number of total quizzes, and are the two largest sections in the "Other" blog section. As such, especially with Greek's meteoric rise, the friendly competition was only natural! Based off of intelligence brief of the war, I think Telugu will win in charts, while blogs will be the most contentious. As for quizzes, lest unforeseen circumstances extenuate the Greek output, based on the current headstart gained, Greek could win there.
As of the time of publishing, Telugu has a good headstart in charts, while Greek has a good headstart in blogs and especially quizzes.
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out over the course of the next year!
Telugu on JetPunk
By Surajrocks99
At the moment, the Telugu community utilises both a JetPunk group and a Discord server, of which the latter is more frequently used. The JetPunk group only has members who speak and/or understand Telugu, whereas the Discord group also has ambassadors who support the "growing" community. Unfortunately, no new Telugu JetPunkers have joined our community since the previous blog, but surprisingly, a few became members on the Discord server; Arjun, Vihaan and Scarlet Sandalwood.
Another significant point of note is the statistics on Telugu JetPunk itself, separate from the Discord statistics. In the preceding annum, there were 593 total Telugu-language quiz takes, of which there were zero takes on 194 days, one take on 77 days, whereas only 30 days got five or more takes. The days with the highest number of takes were 31/10/2024 (Halloween) with 57 takes, and then 24 takes on 11/11/2024 (Veteran's Day). Although this may appear miniscule, it was a significant increase since the antecedent year.
The COTW quiz has garnered the highest number of Telugu-language quiz takes with approximately one hundred and thirty takes in this temporal frame. There were a combined total of 467 page views for the quiz, with the majority of the viewers residing in the United States (190 page views). This was followed by Australia with 60 takes, both Germany and Poland with 38 takes, India (the motherland) with 32 takes, France with 23 takes and the United Kingdom (the colonizers) with 11. There were also a diverse array of thirty other countries with fewer than ten views.
Over the previous year, the community combined created over 200 quizzes, now with a total of 313 quizzes, at this juncture of writing (26 March 2025.) This is an increase of a whopping 289%! The group of Telugu creators include TheNatureThread, Neodymium, AntiMatter8192, Surajrocks99 (myself), Businessbicycle (formerly known as AratiPandu), Noivern, McKenzieFam, Jerry (Ten Thousand), FreeStater, Gademotsili99, HubertThePhoenix and AllOfSanMarino.
It would appear initially at a glance that a multitude of JetPunkers have joined the community, many of these quizzes by these so-called "Telugu JetPunkers" are actually just Neodymium's direct translations of English quiz versions. The advent of translating quizzes on others' accounts by collaborating has allowed our section to gain a wider variety of quizzes from more users that cover more topics. Imposters. Jokes aside though, we're effusive and deeply grateful for all the support that we're getting from these people. Thank much very!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some quizzes made by these people:
చదరంగం పావులు - ఆకస్మిక మరణం! by FreeStater
అఖాత ప్రాంతం (బే ఏరియా) నగరాలు - ఆకస్మిక మరణం by FreeStater
మొదటి పది మూలకాలు by McKenzieFam
భారతదేశంతో సరిహద్దులున్న దేశాల జెండాకారాల పరీక్షా by HubertThePhoenix
బాల్కన్ యుద్ధాల దేశాలు by Gademotsili99
Here are some notable quizzes and blogs made by us, mainly from the last year (there are some more older ones featured in last years blog):
Meanwhile, this quiz by FreeStater is a Sudden Death quiz on chess pieces, being one of the initial quizzes translated into Telugu from another user's account. It also experienced a surge in takes with the "Sudden Death boom", being the ninth most taken quiz on the Telugu section as of now.
This quiz is by Noivern, and is a quiz of the districts of Telangana with a map. Most Telugu speakers in India are concentrated in two states: Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, which split from Andhra Pradesh in 2014. Each is divided into districts, which are analogous to counties in the United States. This quiz is very important one, as although there were previous quizzes about the districts of the state, none of them had a map. This quiz had been intended to be made for a long time, as the Andhra Pradesh equivalent was created in early 2023, but it was finally made a few months ago by Noivern, one of the biggest achievements of this year. This means that both Telugu states finally have a standard SVG quiz of their first level subdivision unit, a crucial base for many other quizzes to be made in the section.
In total, there's been a disparity of quizzes made on Andhra over Telangana, but through analyzing many quizzes and recording if they had a counterpart, the gap between the number of quizzes made about each has been shrinking, down to about a dozen quizzes now, and hopefully closed next year!
This quiz is another SVG quiz by thread, about the Mandalams (third-level subdivision) of Chittoor district, a southern district of Andhra. This is notable as the first quiz of all the Mandalams of a given district in the Telugu states, and it's already been followed up by a few counterparts across both states. This series that was embarked upon with this quiz should end up becoming a major series on Telugu JetPunk, providing a steady flow of quizzes throughout the following year. Additionally, the quizzes can provide as bases for further SVG quizzes related to Mandalams, providing for some more challenging Telugu geography quizzes for those who may wish for the challenge. Unfortunately, the series may not be easily completed since many Mandalams that were recently created have not yet been mapped, but this may change eventually.
Telugu Blogging
Foreword
The Telugu blog "section" will begin its third year of existence in a year or two, and while it is far from being any kind grand library of Telugu culture and other information as previously envisioned, it has been kept active at a steady pace, making it the most significant non-featured language contributor to JetPunk blogs. The current situation is fuelled mostly by shorter blogs from Neodymium, some of which are more humorous than informational. Overall, the section has been comprised of a variety of blogs, including some related to the community and its activities on Discord itself, but it still has more potential that can easily be realized with some effort from more quarters in the coming year. One major obstacle in terms of motivation to write is that, as mentioned, the blog section is currently targeted to the most active few members of the community themselves, and as such it is natural for blogs to be shorter and oriented around the existing community. However, with some more dedication to this aspect of Telugu JetPunk it shouldn't be too hard to slowly branch out, talking about subjects that the community is interested in as well as topics that are relevant to Telugu JetPunk quizzes, as Neodymium has already done a few times.
Of course, motivation could stem from various places for different users so I won't dwell on my own ideas here. In short though, I think setting reasonable goals and writing at manageable lengths about topics of interest or personal relevance will help greatly. We can already see a lot of progress from previous years through the fact that motivation is the only concern preventing the blog section from being even more active, as opposed to previously when many members of the community weren't confident enough in their Telugu knowledge to consider writing. I will conclude by saying that all of this is just based on what has happened so far, and if you are discovering the community from here and are interested in writing in Telugu in any form, don't hesitate to try it out, as that could help change the course of the Telugu blog section over the next year completely. With that being said, I will let Noivern go on with a more detailed explanation of the previous year's events through the blog section.
Telugu Blogging
By Noivern
Blogging in Telugu has grown significantly since the last Ugadi blog, with 10 blogs having being published since then. While most of these are by Neo, this is a testament to the growth of the Telugu section as a whole. This section will cover each of these 10 blogs, with a brief description of the topic of the blog, starting off with businessbicycle's (AratiPandu) blog on linguistics.
Against Linguistics
This blog covers businessbicycle's view on the study of languages, linguistics, and whether it's worth studying or not, opting for the no side, due to not having much practical use.
If you’re wondering about the context, this blog was made by bike semi-humorously (perhaps even sardonically) in response to pushes from some fellow members for him to write a blog, with the irony being that said fellows disagreed strongly with his opinion. On that note…
AratiPandu: A Response To You
Meanwhile, this blog is Neodymium's response to the previous one, justifying the study of linguistics and language concepts. I would recommend both of these blogs, even though most of you guys can't read Telugu 😅.
Fun fact: we jokingly considered continuing this argument through blogs and making it more intense as a publicity stunt for Telugu JetPunk. So these last two are kinda examples of blogs with context in the existing community I guess.
This was a competition for Telugu quizzes in May 2024, with each quiz having to follow the theme of water. Several great quizzes were entered, though the results didn't come out till December. Overall, the competition was a success, with decent participation, and was relatively enjoyable. More editions of this competition would be nice, though the results probably should come in quicker. You can read this blog here!
The End of the JetPunk Shop
This blog covers the end of the JetPunk Shop, translated into Telugu (though I'm not sure how many people would need this blog). Since most of you likely already read the English version, you'll know it's of the shutdown of the JetPunk shop after several years. You can read the blog here, and let's move on to the next one.
This blog was published only 5 days after the previous one, and is just a pangrammatic story (containing all the letters of the alphabet). Several sentences in English can become pangrams, but it's extremely difficult, even impossible to do it in Telugu without overly stretching a sentence, due to Telugu having 52-56 letters (depending on who you ask), some of which rarely appear, hence Neo writing a whole story for that purpose. Quite impressive and probably one of the best Telugu blogs so far!
Telugu JetPunk Quiz Competition Results!
And these are the results for the Telugu quiz competition! The winner is some guy I never knew existed till now, while thread and Suraj came in second and third place respectively. These results did take a while to come out, but they were worth it. Hopefully Telugu JetPunk continues holding events like these. It's the participation and creativity that counts. Check out this blog here!
Duck, Battuta: Portuguese Loanwords
This blog is a list of Portuguese loanwords in Telugu, and what they mean and where they came from. For instance, the word చెవి (chevi) means key (for a door), and comes from the Portuguese word chave, or మేజా (mējā), coming from Portuguese mesa, or table. This is a good example of a short educational blog.
Telugu Neotranscription Method
As you can tell, this next blog is unsurprisingly by Neo, and is a rough transliteration guide for Telugu and how to pronounce Telugu letters, though comes with with many of Neo’s weird perks, though still manages to fit its purpose. This blog is probably the easiest for non-Telugu speakers to understand, due to how simple and effective it is. You can read the blog here.
One Hundred Fourty-Four People - Indian Demography
This blog is one of the most creative, about what India would look like with only 144 people, and covers demographics, language, religion, and others, with a huge amount of research put into it. You may have watched this RealLifeLore video in the past, showcasing a similar concept, except with the world population. This is probably the most interesting to read, which you can do so here, and I would definitely recommend this blog over any other in the Telugu section, due to how well-written it is.
Thin Potato Fry For 820 Crore People
This is a potato fry recipe that can be given to 8.2 billion people. Yes, 8.2 billion, around the number of people living on planet Earth. Anyway, this recipe includes accurate measurements for amounts of ingredients required, and the estimated cost for each, including about 61 billion dollars (USD) worth of hot plates, and 13 billion dollars worth of potatoes. Is this sustainable? Absolutely not. Is the taste of the final product worth it? Yes definitely. Try out this Indian potato fry recipe next time you eat out, being far better than those artificial factory-produced french fries which have been stored in a freezer for two months. You can read the blog over here!
And that concludes the blog section. As seen by the last few entries, blog quality has improved significantly since last Ugadi, and hopefully this trend continues, as we try to expand the Telugu community. Thank you thread for the foreword, and thank you, the reader (if you did read), for reading about the Telugu blog section. Now time for the next section of this blog, an advertisement from the Telugu JetPunk community.
Discord
This section was somewhat taken from last year's blog
Ahhh looking to join the great bastion of Telugu JetPunk Culture? Telugu JetPunk Discord (TJPD) is the place to be!
We have many channels in our server. It was created to replace unnecessarily complex communication on the JetPunk Group. Armed with 30+ channels (much to the chagrin of parota) and a multiple of helpful emojis like [meme man saying "telegoo"] and [Gigachad in front of Indian flag] this server has it all! If you are interested, please ask for an invite link! Here are a few stats below of our messages. As you can see, including private messages, we have over 250,0000 messages!
This is messages sent by person. In the beginning, most messages were sent by the OG members, AntiMatter8192, Neodymium (me!), TheNatureThread, and ArgoniteS7 and now “only” 50% of messages are sent by these members. Compared to 16% of all messages every in the French server being sent by the most active member (parota), here 26% are! And 67% of all messages ever were sent by 4 people! This share is continually declining though, as we gain new members. The share is below:
It’s the number of messages each person sent per week! It's been pretty unactive, but it's started to increase slightly this March!
User Introductions
There are many notable users in the Telugu JetPunk community. Here are the introductions of the users who joined over the last year as well as updates from the last blog:
TheNatureThread
Hello! I am thread (previously TheNatureThread). I was a founder and active member of the Telugu community back in my day in 2022 and 2023 and 2024. I didn't do much JetPunk stuff this year so no use going over my goals. Some things I've been thinking to do this year is to turn some of my yap on Discord into actual blogs and thinking of some other ways to make more concise Telugu blogs (in 2023, I tried writing whole essays each time and lost motivation). As for quizzes I've just been doing stuff when I get an idea, but I started making SVGs for all the mandalams (3rd level subdivision) of the Telugu states by district (2nd level subdivision) so that might be a consistent series! I'm not currently involved enough to say anything further, but I will continue making some things on Telugu JetPunk whenever I get the opportunity and idea and hope people enjoy them.
AntiMatter8192
Hello! I'm AntiMatter8192, and I'm a founder of Telugu Jetpunk. I made and currently manage the Telugu Jetpunk Server (TJPD), and I'm also working on the Telugu COTW quiz (for 3 years now lol). I don't really make that many quizzes and blogs, but I do work to keep the server and the community running. Maybe I'll finish COTW and make more quizzes. Maybe.
Neodymium
Hello! I’m Neodymium (or Neo) and since last Ugadi, a lot has happened to me on JetPunk. Last time I went over some goals I had and if it'd succeeded them. I didn't write them down, but here were my goals I made a few months before the last blog!
2,000 quizzes - I didn't achieve my goal of 1,000 last year, so I have no clue why I increased it
25,000 - Blew it out of the water!
2 features/spotlights - This one as well!
Develop the Telugu section to 250? quizzes - Telugu rose to over 300 total!
I think its safe to say that my year has been fortuitous, and despite expanding, the Telugu section remains a keystone of my time here, and I'd like to continue to focus on it into the future.
Thanks for reading this blog! This blog takes us a lot of time and effort to make, and I'd like to thank everyone that participated in it.
Surajrocks99
Hello, Namaste, Salaam Walaikum, Sasriyakaal! My username is Surajrocks99, although it's obvious what my actual name is, and I've been on AirplanePunk since 2020. I currently live within the rather abstract place called Scandinavia. I make a few Telugu quizzes now and then, and I hope to make some more. Last year, I stated that I wished to create more quizzes, something I've already done, now with a catalogue of forty-eight different Telugu-language quizzes created at this time of writing. I didn't make a philosophy blog, but I'll make some... trust me. It seems that I missed the mark of hitting 150 quizzes, so because of that I'll aim for 200 by next year's Ugadi!
I've made no philosophy simply cos i got nothing, but I'll make something eventually.
KarthikVatsavayi
Hey, I'm KarthikVatsavayi, a proud member of the Telugu JetPunk community. Over the years I have made a few quizzes, but my love for answering geography and culture quizzes has been keeping me in this site.
We have a very nice and interactive community over on discord where I love sharing pictures, discussing geography, history, culture and ofcourse, our beautiful language. It is a matter of great pride that we have such a vibrant group of Telugus on the internet.
And the beautiful thing about this group is that it also includes members from the Telugu diaspora who still want to stay connected to their roots despite being thousands of miles away, keeping alive the spirit of the words of the legendary poet Rayaprolu Subba Rao,
E deshamegina endukalidina
E peetamekkina evaremanina
Pogadara nee thalli bhoomi Bharatini
Nilupara nee jaathi nindu gauravamu
Wherever you go, whoever you become
Do not forget to praise your mother India
Keep your nation’s honour high
Namaskaram.
AllOfSanMarino
I'm aware I haven’t exactly been active in this community, but I have grown since last year. I've figured out some nuances to Telugu as I learn it, and I’ve been more in touch with our culture and my Telugu friends. My heritage has brought me so many blessings and I could not be more proud of where I come from. Each and every day, I am thankful to be part of such a vast and kind spirited community. When the day is over, and the sun sets, at the end of it all, I am proud to be Telugu. You’ve all, in some way, made this community better, and I thank you for it.
Noivern
Hello, I'm Noivern. I'm from Australia, and discovered Telugu JetPunk one day after searching up Telugu in the search bar on JetPunk, and randomly deciding to click on the Search with Google option, leading to this blog. While I'm not fluent, I can read, write, and understand Telugu, and have been glad to be part of this community for nearly 2 years. I plan to make at least 100 Telugu quizzes (and maybe a blog) over the next year, as well as learn to be completely fluent in Telugu. Thanks, all of you and the JetPunk community for making me feel more welcomed on this site.
Future
In the past year, there has been much more progress in Jetpunk than in the Discord server, which is a good thing. I think this trend will continue, and more quizzes, blogs, and charts in Telugu will be published, while the server gets more dormant.
Telugu Sudden Death quizzes are also exceptionally successful, and this genre will definitely grow more in the future. Telugu quizmakers will continue to make good quizzes, and I'll also try my hand at making a couple of them over the next year. Hopefully I'll make good quizzes. Hopefully.
A major rallying point of the community this year was our competition with Greek Jetpunk, which contributed to the growth of both our communities. We are currently soundly defeating the Greeks (although we're both enjoying the competition), and we hope to beat more language communities. Any challengers?
Of course, there's also the elephant in the room, the Telugu COTW quiz. Over the last year, next to no progress has been made, which I believe is due to excessive bureaucracy. Therefore, I have decided to do things unilaterally. This project is entering its third year, and I just want to get this over with. I hope to finish this by June since I'll be pretty busy with exams and stuff.
The past year has been filled with both setbacks and successes, and hopefully the next year will be as eventful as this one. With the way things have gone recently, it seems we're improving, and hopefully this trend stays for the rest of the year. We have set a goal of 500 quizzes, 50 blogs, and 50 charts total in Telugu for the next year, which is achievable if we work towards it. I also hope to finish Telugu COTW, get it ratified by the community, and start translating some country quizzes to further boost the Telugu section. Atop of that, we'll be hosting another Telugu quiz competition, and will hopefully compete well in the "war". Hopefully next year will be good!
As you can see, we have many grand plans for the coming year, and they all look very achievable at the moment. If we truly work, we can achieve all of them and continue growing.
If you are Telugu and would like to join our project, we would love to have you! As you probably know, we have a Discord server and a JetPunk group, and we can work together to build a better Telugu section! Please comment on this blog, and we’ll add you!
చదివినందుకు ధన్యవాదాలు! మా ఆలస్యాన్ని క్షమించండి
Ps. who made ginger pickle^3? Chronologically, this blog should be at only ginger pickle^2. Someone editing the blog accidentally did it again. This means we went from ^0, to ^1, to ^3.
Thanks for reading this blog and helping the Telugu community grow this year, we really do appreciate it. Happy Ugadi everyone!
More seriously, that's always a pleasure to read about your dedicated community. I have to admit that I hadn't noticeed that you had done that much this year. Congrats! And let's get rid of the bureaucracy! All the best for this year, and good luck with the COTW project!
We are currently soundly defeating the Greeks
