The first quiz we’ll be looking at was created by none other than cathlete. In it, you’re given 20 images each relating to a moment in pop culture for each year of the 2010s. I was able to get nearly every answer correct my first time with the only exceptions being a couple things I was familiar with but didn’t know the name of, and an event that occurred when I was too young to really pay attention to the news. Aside from those few, it was really fun getting to relive that entire decade! There was a good amount of variety with each of the answers, and there wasn’t alot of repetition between each type of answer, like the highest grossing move from each year for example. I suppose that when each year is only given two answers to work with, there really isn't any shortage of material to spice things up! Seeing the first few answers and the last few answers on the quiz and remembering that they were from the same decade really puts into perspective just how long 10 years is. Fun quiz!

Events from the 2010s... or the 1910s? by Dimby

One thing I really admire about the ‘A… or B?’ style of quizzes is just how they can even come up the questions. If you told me to find a bunch of events that happened in 2010 and 1910 that sound like they could plausibly take place in the other decade, I wouldn't even know where to begin! It's definitely a skill of the quizmaker to be able to do that well, and it's something you feel as the quiztaker. In my opinion, Dimby has done that job very well. The creativity of questions on display is very refreshing from the usual quizzes of this type, where they ask me questions about two countries I know nothing about and I have to make blind guesses for every answer. Often I found myself knowing the correct answer for one decade (like if there was a boating disaster that killed over 1,500 people), and having to think whether it happened in the other as well. Having to stop and think for a bit is one of the best parts of taking quizzes (only on JetPunk though; it's a bit stressful in real life). And the descriptions at the end of the quiz explaining the answers, and they ways in which they are or aren't correct, are really fun to read. Overall, awesome work! I think this might be my favourite quiz in this style.

2010s #1 Hits by Synonym, Part I and Part 2 by Dimby

One of my favourite genres of quizzes on JetPunk are synonym/antonym quizzes. By just changing the words of something you can come up with some pretty silly sounding titles, and it's fun trying to think of what it was originally. Luckily for us, Dimby has created not one, but two synonym quizzes for this challenge! Both are based on the titles of songs from the 2010s. One thing I really like about these quizzes is that some of the answers could make for actual song titles themselves (even if they are kind of goofy). Enjoy the Manner You Fib? Second-Hand Boutique? Unable to Sense my Kisser? Sketchy Boundaries? _______???? Sounds like someone has a promising career in song titling.
