Introduction
Hello everyone! I go by the username jbro if you don't already know me, and today I hit a total of 100,000 takes on my quizzes! My mind is still completely boggled as I went from 81,000 takes yesterday all the way to 103,000 takes as of me writing this blog. This week has been thrilling for me and very unexpected. Just this past Friday, I got my first featured quiz for a quiz that I had made back in November, Ivy League Universities - Sudden Death, which went on the top of the front page today! Since 12:00 am EST today, my quiz has been the top quiz the whole entire day. More than the Countries of the World quiz!! Which is completely amazing. It went from 4,548 takes to now well over 23,000 and the day isn't over yet!
My Story
So with all this big stuff happening for me, and all these random charts I have, I felt like it was the right time to share my JetPunk story. So without further ado, here's how it all started...
Like a lot of us, I discovered JetPunk during the pandemic, back in spring of 2020. I was extremely bored with online school who wasn't? and needed something to do with the loads of free time I had. I don't even remember how exactly I found this site but when I did I quickly became absolutely addicted. I would take quizzes all day every day for around a month until I actually ended up creating my account. For years I had been very interested in geography, knowing every country since I was around 8 or 9. I had and still have so too many maps and globes in my room and was keen on figuring out everything there is to know about geography. I thought I was gonna find the answer to that on JetPunk and although I have learned many multitudes of things (about geography and others), what JetPunk really taught me is that it's impossible to learn it all.
I made many quizzes in 2020 (as shown in the chart above), around 100 to be exact. Although most were complete garbage, some are still my best quizzes to this day, such as 50 Most Visited Countries in the World, which with over 7,000 takes, was my number 1 quiz until around 3 am this morning. A lot of these quizzes were copied quizzes (which I didn't know at the time) or had like three answers per question basically my whole Caucasia series. I also had a thing for making quizzes bold which was very strange basically up into 2022.
2022 was a great year for me. I made friends with many users such as thread, BigGeographyGuy, and PotatoDude and even convinced 4 of my own friends to join, one of which is ynohtna. I also made a lot of good blogs, many of which are in my Country vs Country series 2022 was such a good blog year, I hope it can get to that level again. As you can see in the chart, 2022 was by far my biggest year of making quizzes and blogs, with 270 quizzes and 11 blogs (shown below).
Then came 2023...
I started making better quality quizzes, and a lot in a short span. I made over 100 quizzes in a 2 1/2 month span. I also made many series like Random History, Largest Cities by Italian Region, and Largest Cities by French Region. Then as you can see in one of the charts above, my quizzing plateaued and I only made 2 quizzes from March 30, 2023, to November 10, 2024 (Almost 20 Months!). Although I wasn't totally inactive (other than the summertime), I felt myself lean away from JetPunk and only go on it once in a while, I think this might have been somewhat of a common theme as many of my 2022 friends are currently inactive unfortunately and have been since then. By the start of the 2024 school year, I started to become more active and taking a lot of quizzes. Then came November, when sudden death quizzes came out...
As I'm sure everyone was, I was thrilled to see a new type of quiz, and one as good as Sudden Death. In a span of 3 days, I made 23 quizzes, 18 of which were sudden death. That has now become my most popular series with over 35,000 takes as of making this blog. This whole school year, I have been grinding taking more quizzes than ever reaching all the way up to level 73 in English in addition to level 45 in French, level 35 in Italian, and others totaling over 25,000 points (level 80).
Then starting this June, I started making a lot more quizzes. You might be thinking "this seems like a common theme" and you'd be right. I've talked about it 4 other times, where I make a lot of quizzes in a 1 week to 1 month span and then take a break, but I'm hoping this time won't be like that. I want to make good quality quizzes and blogs consistently and start to make more friends. The other day I joined the JetPunk discord which is a step in the right direction. I want to be more a part of the JetPunk community and I thank users like thegoatisgoaty, LuckyCat, PontiacLover, toowise, and McKenzieFam, just to name a few.
So I thank you all for reading my little rant blog and although I'm sad about the upcoming summer slump since I'll have plenty of free time to write blogs like these, I'm hopeful for the year ahead and hope to continue my JetPunk journey with many more milestones like these. Happy blogging and quizmaking!

Also, thank you guys for voting on my The Hidden Country - Bhutan blog, I didn't think I would get 15 votes, so thanks for that and remember, voting ends Saturday for those who didn't.
Congrats! This is an impressive milestone, and an earned one at that. You've got some nice quizzes, and I'm glad one finally got attention. You'll keep growing, maybe a bit slowly, but don't give up!
Thanks for the shoutout mate, we're glad to have you here
