Intro + Disclaimers
First: Long story short, if the earth was flat, you would be dead.
Second: It would be impossible for the earth to be flat, due to gravity creating a spherical shape. Even if it did somehow manage to be flat, it would likely pull itself back into a sphere or collapse anyway. Meaning that this is entirely hypothetical.
Third: This assumes that you believe the earth is a sphere. Flat-earthers, get off my lawn.
Fourth: The little models I've made are likely not super accurate, and assume a lot of things about the flat earth. In advance, it would change quite a lot if the thickness of the crust/surface area was different.
Anyways, hello! This blog will essentially be talking about the hypothetical scenario of if the earth was flat, what would happen, and how the flat earth would work. We've all heard of those insane people who think that Earth is flat...and turned them down without question. But maybe, just maybe...they were on to something?
Gravity
By now, you should know that the invisible force we call gravity is created by 'massive' celestial objects, like our planets, moons, and stars. The center of gravity, well, is in the center of these spherical objects. But, on a flat, circular earth, the center of gravity would be in the middle!
This means that everything on the flat earth would be pulled towards the center. But since it's a circle and not a sphere:
F = G * (m₁*m₂)/r²
Gravity formula. For our flat earth, M1 is the mass of the Earth, M2 is the mass of the object, and r is the distance from the center to M2
This would cause all the water to eventually create one big ocean in the center, and all precipitation would fall towards this point anyway, making it harder to survive away from the huge ocean. Trees would grow diagonally towards the center.
Even further, the gravity would get stronger closer to the edge (in simplest form, because you're still on Earth, the gravity needs to try harder to bring you back to the center). Near Antarctica (aka the Great Ice Wall), the gravity would likely be enough to kill you.
Air Pressure
Because of our new gravity, the air would be practically sucked into the center. If we disregarded the fact that there's an entire ocean in the center, we still wouldn't be able to live here (even on the Arctic) because of the immense air pressure, which would crush you if you got too close. On the flipside, going near the Great Ice Wall would also kill you, because A) there wouldn't be enough oxygen to breath and B) the air pressure would be too low, and esentially you, and all your vital organs, wouldn't be held together anymore and you'd swell up and vaporize. A little grueling, huh?
Magnetic Field & Tectonic Plates
Surprise! You're dead again. The Earth generates its magnetic field due to the movement core, but obviously on a flat earth, there are none. This means no tectonic activity or warmth from the core, and worst of all, no magnetic field at all. This means that the entirety of the Earth would be exposed to radiation and solar winds, along with it not being able to hold its atmosphere (so no point in worrying about the air pressure). Furthermore, no auroras either, as these are formed because of the sun's solar winds and the magnetic field.
How would volcanoes work on a flat earth? Volcanoes rely on pressure and movement of tectonic plates to form and erupt (which are lopsided and nonexistant on this earth), so they most likely wouldn't exist. New land couldn't be formed naturally, and without outside intervention, erosion will eventually wear the world down into a vast ocean.
How Would Day and Night Work?
Again, assuming you're not dead, it's obvious that since earth's not a sphere, it will practically have only one timezone. Depending on how the Earth revolves around the sun:
Awful diagrams, but you get the point. Obviously, Scenario C would be most favorable, though the day/night cycle could be faster or slower. Scenarios A and B would be less favorable and would result in eternal day or night, both of which would cause problems for our poor earth.
Additionally, there would be no seasons either. Generally, the earth would be hotter at the center, like our normal equator (so the Arctic would likely not be there), while colder at the edges.
The Edge...and the Other Side
Previously, I said that the edge would be Antarctica, but this is disputed. Some place the continent in the middle or somewhere else entirely. Though it's not entirely certain, chances are the ice would melt, but due to the wonky gravity, it wouldn't fall off but simply be attracted towards the center.
It would be physically impossible to get to the edge anyway, as stated previously that there's no oxygen, and not enough atmospheric pressure. Along with that, gravity might behave weird here.
One theory is that simply gravity would flip and you'd be upside down on the other side. But this brings a lot of questions. How would we cross to the other side? How would two different sides work? Could we live on the edge?
Again, gravity pulls everything to the center. As water is in the center, the ocean wouldn't have a bottom - it would just be a large tube with lots of dead animals and trash in the middle.
Next - could we drill to the other side? Sadly not, because clearly the gravity would push everything into the center (imagine trying to drill upwards against gravity - that's what you're doing.)
Living on the edge? Ha, ha, very funny. Crushing gravity, no oxygen or water, barely any air pressure, weird temperature conditions and wonky wind, you're not going to have a life, if one at all, on the edge of a broken planet.
It would be nearly impossible for the two different sides to communicate, unless they just left the planet entirely and circled around it.
Conclusion
Hope you learned something! This blog was fun to write (because procrastinating is sooo fun), and I hope to bring more educational blogs here in the future!
It turns out that flat earthers were not onto something at all and would kill us all within days, if not quicker. But thankfully, the laws of physics are still intact, and we won't have a flat planet for the rest of eternity (or, at least until we make one ourselves!), so let's be glad our species happened to not die off, and that we ability to think, feel, throw things at the wall, and talk to each other like sentimental idiots.

(note the next message is a joke and I don't want an actual war. It's obnoxious and unprofessional so you can ignore it if you want to.)
⚠ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ⚠
I DECLARE WAR
So, I happily accept this battle proposal, and will accumulate more takes than you could ever dream possible :D
My featured quiz is just now getting recognized. Very soon, it will appear on the front page for all to see. Good Luck friend. You need some and I don't >:)
No but seriously, I am sorry I kinda stole the spotlight. It wouldla been great if you had gotten it, but I'm proud of my quiz and will not simp for your hypothetical quiz if it is not even published. Thank you both, Kilo and Astana, for the amazing support and growth of my channel!!!
Me : *sweating nervously*
He already has double your takes without the feature.
Once he gets frontpage I am cooked too
You have to get a sudden death feature if you wanna have a chance.
Just for my own info for then
Lucky yesterday 32k
Kilo 17k
Anyways have a nice battle you 2!
