3 Years of JetPunk

Well, it's been 3 years since I made my account, LuckyCat. If you've known me since the beginning, you might know a lot of my backstory already. I don't feel like telling it again, so go read this if you so please. I had a pre-account, kind of, which was really just me testing out the site. I ultimately left this account for something new (I forgot the password), and started LuckyCat. And I'm glad I did.

This account has gained 600k takes in 3 years. My account reached 3 years on the 9th of this month, which was 10 days ago (I procatinated), but I also wanted to wait until I achieved 600k takes to add yet another milestone. 600k takes, that's pretty impressive I'd say, at least for 3 years. Although Elboy having 14 million takes in 5 years is much more impressive. Shout-out to Elboy.

For the first year or two, which I shall dub my Kitten Years, I did not actually do much. I made a few quizzes, sure, but that was it. I did meet KiloNova during this year, which kept me hooked, knowing that someone was always there to take my quizzes. I think I made at least 200 quizzes during my first year on the site, most of which were the generic "Country by Letter" type geography quizzes. Not very unique. And another 200 the next year, or something like that. However, I didn't give up, wanting to make better and better quizzes. I eventually figured out how to use the Manual Mode in the quiz editor, which was like unlocking a new location in an escape room. I added colors and blocks, and made my next 100 quizzes look better than the ones before.

Once my account reached 1 year of age, nothing much had changed. I was still learning about the site, while also not using it an extensive amount. Once the second year passed, it still felt mostly the same. Eventually I found the RUB (unlocking yet another location in said escape room), which expanded my JetPunk reach, allowing for so much more. I instantly started making tons of blogs, probably around 20 by the New Year of 2024. For reference, I started blogging around September 2024. On top of this, the Message Board was added to the site, allowing me to further connect with my friends here, and discovering new friends I never knew existed.

All of that is fine and dandy, but it felt like my journey truly started at the top of '25, near the end of January to be specific. This is when I felt like my Kitten years were ending, because yes, I'm referring to when I got my first Feature. That changed everything, and the takes never stopped pumping in. In only one year, I've gained 550,000 takes. It feels good to be recognized like that, and I'm glad I make quizzes that are worthy of more than 1,000 takes. My top quiz, in fact, is approaching 100,000 takes. I can't wait for that day. I now have almost 100 subscribers. and almost 800 quizzes. All of this has put me so close to the top 100 Quizmaker rank, but it's still so far away.

My time here has been well spent. I've made some fabulous friends, and participated in some really fun activities here on the site. I've been quite busy and lazy as of late, but I'll try to get more active and continue with the Hidden Gem series, some other blogs, and some more quizzes of course.
