JetPunker Logos?

Introduction
Well, I had another idea.
What if JetPunkers had logos? I know this idea is basically a social media icon, which is what Quizmaster is trying to avoid, but I'll go ahead and talk about it anyway, so hear me out.
Logos are a great way to express yourself. They add visuals to your online identity, giving others a taste of who you are, what you like, etc. They bring color and flavor to an otherwise dry profile, and might give users a creative way to show off. All in all, logos are a staple of an account, whether it be on a social media platform or not.
The idea of making a JetPunk account comes with a few thoughts: Levels, Streaks, and of course, quizzes. Now, none of this really screams social media, and for good reasons. JetPunk isn't meant to be a social platform. Communication with others is inevitable, but it isn't the kind on JetPunk where chaos can emerge. It's been like this for years, and should stay this way. However, things can change.
A profile picture is something that has been discussed quite a bit, at least from what I've seen of my few years on JetPunk. I previously attempted to give JetPunk just this, with the option to customize your own Jeppy fish. Check that out here. This idea worked out nicely, and received very positive feedback from the community. A was satisfied myself, but can't stop thinking about other possibilities to give JetPunkers the same kind of freedom for their account. With the customized Jeppy, the freedom was limited. I gave you some options, and you could add other things you wanted. However, Jeppy is a small fish. Logos, on the other hand, can offer so much more.
Logos are a space for the user to put whatever they want. A cat, a dog, a flying airplane crocodile, the list goes on forever. Some logos are funny, others simple, and some are not very friendly at all. The problem with logos is, they offer too much freedom. You can put anything you want in that space. And this is the clear reason why JetPunk does not have logos. My customized Jeppy idea was a great way to detour this problem. Jeppy has or can have limits, and reflects back onto the site in a positive light, since seeing our mascot instead of, say, a random guy's face, is better for the site. It restricts the social media aspect, while also giving some freedom for your account, and can be fun for everyone without the unnecessary chaos that might unfold otherwise.
A logo would be different. Harder to monitor, messy, and not as JetPunk friendly as it could be. However, what if it wasn't a logo? What if it was like a logo, but just a bit less crazy? My proposition:
JetPunk Banners
Like a logo, banners are just bigger spaces for creativity. They offer the same things as logos, but come with catches that I'll explain.
Firstly: Banners would only appear on a user's public profile page. This is a user's main display page, where all their JetPunk work can be seen by others. The profile page is quite colorful already, with the ability to add a travel map, earn badges, and show off their levels and languages. The profile page is already great. But a banner would add just a little more pop. Dazzle. Shine. The banner would only be displayed on a user's profile page, no where else. This lessens the "logo" effect, since a logo is generally visible in many more places. It also relieves the amount of coding, since only allowing for the banner on the user's profile page would minimize complications elsewhere.
Secondly: The banner would need to be approved by Quizmaster, or another higher authority. This way, nothing sketchy is posted, and JetPunk can remain friendly. This may not be the most practical, but would need to be necessary. My customized Jeppy idea wouldn't need this verification, but a banner allows more freedom, so it comes with more rules.
Thirdly: The banner could only be updated every week. This may seem like a long time, and it is. This way, Quizmaster or the other higher authorities are not overwhelmed checking every banner for approval. It gives time for them, essentially. It also adds to the authenticity of it all, since changing a banner every day seems like a waste. The banner should be a symbol of the user, not a toy to mess around with constantly. I doubt this would be a problem anyway, but you can never be too safe.
I think this should be fine, but there is likely more that should be considered. I'm not trying to persuade anyone of course this is just another random idea I had. However, the idea is, in my opinion, a nice feature. Overall, my customized Jeppy idea is better in the long run, since it doesn't need verification as said previously. But, the Jeppy idea would act more like a logo instead of a banner, which takes much more coding. So, this banner idea is in a way a lot simpler.
How Banners Would Work
A banner would work like a thumbnail for a quiz. You would get the options to either:
- Search for a picture on Pixabay with the JetPunk search filter.
- Upload you own picture. This can range from anything, from works of art you made, or a funny meme you like. Overall, the authority's approval is still the final boss. This option may be "unlocked" when the user reaches level 15 on their account.
- Paste an image into the banner spot. This allows for wider searches to be made outside Pixabay and other sources.
The best option here is to upload your own custom banner image, since it gives the user their own creative freedom. However, it must be earned with dedication to the site.
I have made my own banner to give y'all an example of how it might look. The size might be able to vary, I'm not too sure about that. But a banner should have a greater height than width in my opinion.
It's quite nice if you ask me, and reflects who I am on JetPunk. Many users would love a creative feature like this, which isn't restricted to a map or something else. Again, the freedom is monitored, as the intention is not to add social media to the site. Just a bit more creativity. And I think this all works nicely.
Final Thoughts
I just wanted to make a blog. Haven't posted one in a while, even though I have a few unfinished ones in the closet. This idea is cute, but rivals my customized Jeppy idea. I think they both work honestly, as both could be implemented with little consequence if monitored correctly. But at the end of the day, it's unnecessary, as it's just a waste of time to add a simple feature that won't add anything to the site itself.
If you want to make your own banner, go ahead! I used Canva, but you can use anything you want to to make your banner. If enough people actually want to make a banner, I'll make a blog displaying them! Would be cooler than a Jeppy in my honest opinion. I like my banner, and I hope y'all do too lol.
That's it for this blog. Thanks for reading, and if you do make a banner, adhere to my rules above please. In this case, I'm the higher authority, and will hijack your account if the banner is not JetPunk friendly.
Let me close on a friendly note: Meow :3

Right, now I'm off to make one
I would prefer the Jeppy idea though, it would work better and wouldn't have to be monitored much
I didn't have a lot of time to make this, nor am I too experienced in Canva but I tried my best.
