In this special blog, I will explain how I got here, how I got here so quickly, and what I plan to do next.
- Where I Began And How Far I've Come -
I made my account around two and a half years ago. Since then, I've been increasing takes every day, making quizzes people seem to enjoy. Over these years I've learned what it takes to make a good quiz, and have had the support from amazing people. My first big step forward came around October 2024, when I made my first blog titled "Who is LuckyCat?" This blog was my true introduction to the world of JetPunk, and the community welcomed me with open arms. Before this, my only true JetPunk friend was KiloNova, who I spent much of my time with.
After making my first blog, I found that this allowed me to have more freedom on JetPunk than just making simple quizzes. So, I continued making blogs, with each one being better than the last. With the new addition of the Message Board, I was also able to connect with my new friends on a deeper level, something which actually impacted not only my life online, but also my life outside JetPunk. I spent so much time on the Message Board, not wanting to leave what had essentially become my favorite thing to do: talk with random people online. Everyone, and I mean everyone, who uses the Message Board is amazing, and I'm so glad I never left JetPunk.
Around the beginning of 2025, I got my first Featured quiz, which you can take below. This boosted my confidence and self esteem in a way that none of you will ever be able to understand. When that happened it felt like I was finally noticed. After this Feature, I was able to obtain 5 more Featured quizzes, all gaining massive sums of takes. I went from around 40,000 total takes at the end of January to 100,000 total takes at the end of March. In two months, I gained roughly 60,000 takes. This was of course with the help of spotlights, Frontpage pins, and having Featured quizzes in different languages. But still, my publicity went from almost nothing to something crazy in nearly no time at all.
With my spirits peaking like never before, I continued making notable quizzes and blogs. I made a follow-up blog to my very first blog mentioned above. This follow-up blog is so outdated already it's hilarious. I made that blog a month ago. I had 40,000 takes then. It's been a month, and now I have 100,000 takes. If that isn't insane I don't know what is.
I promised to myself that I would continue to stay on JetPunk until I couldn't anymore. This place is like family, and I couldn't leave anyone. The friends I've made here, I value so much. I've gained confidence in real life because I've gained popularity among my fellow JetPunkers. It's insane what this journey has done for me, and I can't wait to continue it!
- The Unlucky - Lucky Race: First To 100k Takes -
Find another brief description of this race here.
If you follow me closely, you might know that I entered a race with Gademotsili99, a good JetPunk friend, a while ago. This race was the first to reach 100k takes. At that point, I had around 50k takes after having two of my quizzes Featured. These two quizzes both accumulated around 20k takes at the time, and have gained around 10k more since. I also got two French Features of my translated quizzes, one Spanish Feature, and now, the quiz that likely determined the entire outcome of this race, my newest English Sudden Death Feature. Of course, all of these quizzes have equally contributed to my growth, but this Sudden Death Feature of mine is the only thing that kept me in this race. This quiz will be on the Frontpage as of the time of me posting this blog, and it will likely have somewhere around 10k takes. Without this happening, Gadem would have easily beaten me to 100k. Now, we managed to hit this milestone on the same day, which is truly something special.
The Featured quizzes of mine that contributed to my rapid growth are as follows:
First Feature: Flags With Gravity #1
Second Feature: Flags With Gravity #2
First Translated Feature: Drapeaux de pays soumis à la gravité #1
Second Translated Feature: Drapeaux de pays soumis à la gravité #2
Third Translated Feature: Banderas con gravedad #2
Most Recent Feature: Elements - Sudden Death
This Sudden Death Feature is the quiz that kept me in the race with Gadem. Only because of its popularity, I was holding on. Over the time of this race, my takes have increased significantly quicker than Gadem's takes, and more quickly in general. However, with Gadem's massive head start or nearly 85k takes, it was a miracle I managed to make any comeback at all. This may be one of the greatest underdog comebacks in JetPunk history. I say that to make it all sound dramatic, but my growth has been quite incredible, considering that I've gained six Featured quizzes and around 60,000 takes in basically two months.
This chart made by user Astana is a fantastic representation of my race to 100k with Gadem. The Nova-Cat War is a completely different topic that has fallen apart, but if you are interested in that, see it here. However, I don't want to be in any "war". I'm just happy to be growing along side some of my favorite people on the internet. I'm making so many memories on a quizzing website, and I've spent so much of my time on this website connecting with people who I care about. I've made dozens of friends here in a matter of months, as before I made my first blog, KiloNova was my only true friend. Now, I have so many more great people in my life, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you all so much.
- What I Plan On Doing Now -
Of course I'm staying here for a while. Being in school means I have to toggle between education and JetPunk, but I plan on sticking around, making more quizzes and blogs, and watching myself grow some more. I went from being a simple quizmaker to having my name known by so many more people. It's an adjustment, but something I am happy to adjust to. I truly never thought I would make it this far. My goal was to reach the top #1,000 quizmaker range, and that was it. However, now that this goal has been long achieved, I am looking for bigger things. I talk about passing McKenzieFam, another good JetPunk friend of mine. That was honestly a joke way back when, but now it's genuinely a reality. I also see myself passing other notable JetPunkers soon, like Insaniot, toowise, and Nickelz. This may take some more time than I think it will, but with all that has happened to me recently, I believe that anything is possible if you set your heart to it.
- Special Announcement -
You can find this treat here. Look closely. Those who are good friends may see a difference. If you don't see a difference, or if you are new, I'm sure other people already know what the difference is :)
- Something Amazing! -
Read this blog made by Gadem, I'm sure it'll be worth your time!
Well, that's all I have to say. Thanks to everyone who has supported my growth! I hope to continue my JetPunk journey, as I feel that more great things are on the way!
- Much love, Lucky
Amazing blog too!
Congrats on 100k!
Oh also happy birthday!
Congratulations to you and Gademotsi!
Edit: I just realized, you actually WON?!
Yes funnily, I bottled it last possible minute
I love the formatting here, is this some nesting of split components within split components?
Yes, it's a split inside a split, then inside that split is another split. I made each progressively smaller. Im actually making a blog with details to this, should be ready in a few days or so
