LuckyCat's Treats - Summer 2025

Besides the stupid title, this blog should be quite serious, as I intend to give y'all some updates about my current life both on and outside of JetPunk. Hopefully it finds my audience well.

Over the past 6 months, of what has been the year 2025, my JetPunk experience has changed significantly as most of you likely already know. I will save you the the long, arduous task of having to read a timeline of everything that happened for me so far this year, but I do want to highlight what I'm most proud of.

Most importantly, I surpassed 100,000 total takes on March 25 of this year. This is probably the achievement I am most proud of for myself, since there are not many users who can claim this award. It took a good 2 and a half years to reach this milestone, but after waiting for so long, I finally got recognized. After my first Featured Quiz, the "infamous" Flags With Gravity #1, I realized my own potential, and started making better quizzes. Since my first Feature in late January of this year, I've gained 14 more Features, having 15 in total. I have 6 Features in various other languages besides English, being French, Spanish, and Polish, leaving 9 English Features which have racked up most of my takes. Ever since I surpassed 100k takes, I didn't slow down at all, and sit at 350k takes currently. I'm so unbelievably proud of my growth, and can't wait until some of my other English Features hit the Front Page!

I've managed to enter the top 200 Quizmaker rank on JetPunk, after gaining around 300k takes this year alone. My goal is to reach 500k takes by the end of the year. I think this is more than doable, and I thank everyone for supporting my journey, and Quizmaster for noticing my potential.

On top of my JetPunk growth is my own personal growth as a person. This year so far, I feel like I've gained levels of confidence I never knew I had in me. I credit JetPunk for this, but also just being more comfortable with the people I'm constantly around helped me understand who I am. I've made more friends in school, and don't feel like a total introvert anymore. I changed my physical appearance, being able to get rid of braces (which I had for 4 entire years), and change my crappy hairstyle to something more appealing. I tried my luck with a crush I had (which didn't work out, sadly - that was back before I changed my appearance), and this also boosted my confidence and self esteem levels.

However, my life wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. I used JetPunk so often that I didn't make enough time for education, which almost made me fail a class (and caused me to not do so well in other classes). However, I passed, and now I know to take my real life more seriously.

After actually writing my ideas, I felt like I had more to talk about than I actually did. But short blogs aren't terrible. I'm writing this in the freedom of summer, which never lasts very long anymore. I have summer work to do before school starts again in the autumn, and other life things to take care of.

I plan on making quizzes of course, and will get some more Front Page pins late summer and throughout autumn. I can finally relax and play some games, and read a book or two. The newest Hunger Games book is out, and I want to read that one for sure.

Life is only going to get more stressful from here, so thanks for being a great community. Everyone here is awesome, especially those with me in our Chat. You know who you are :)
