Shining Light on Hidden Gems #2 - hi111223

In this series, I will be displaying users who you may or may not know so well, but that I think deserves more credit. This could be that the user has well made quizzes which don't have many plays, or that the user is a great person and should be recognized by more people. Whatever the case may be, I will be talking about it here. This is not an interview, as that would be a direct ripoff of baptistegorce's "Interview of a JetPunker" series, which is not my intention at all. I simply want to spotlight users who I think should be more popular. Enjoy!

I have selected user hi111223 as my second entry in this series because their quizzes are very underrated. hi does have over just 50,000 plays as of making this blog, yet without a single Featured quiz, I don't think he gets enough credit for his quizzes. Having 30 subscribers is splendid for him, and I think he should have more considering his quizzes are fun to play. His top quizzes are honestly quite random, since some stick out to me way more than others.

hi111223 is approaching 600 quizzes, and only has barely over 50k takes to show for it. His most taken quiz sits at a steady 4.5k takes, and most of his others sit below 100 takes. Now, having 600 quizzes does mean that you will accumulate more takes over time, but again, he doesn't have one Featured quiz yet. I think he has many, many quizzes which could be Featured, and I'll explain what I mean later. As for now, here are what I think to be hi111223's best quizzes.

His most played quiz as of posting this blog is Countries With 1% or More of the Population of the World which has around 4.5 thousand takes. It's a simple text quiz basically asking you to type the most populated countries. Even though quizzes like this exist, this one presents the information to you by showing the population percentage of how much each country on the list has. It i up-to-date, and has 40 nominations. The quiz isn't bad since it is clear research was put into it, but I sadly don't see it getting Featured.

His Planets - Sudden Death quiz isn't his most taken Sudden Death quiz, but is up there nonetheless. It hasn't even hit 1,000 takes yet, which is very surprising to me considering it's an easy but well made Sudden Death quiz. All the planets are there, but good distractors are also added. I'm honestly surprised the average score isn't 100%, or even 90%, but that means his quiz is good enough to trick people even when it's just naming the planets of the solar system. I think tis quiz is Feature worthy.

(His most taken Sudden Death quiz is about the NBA, which I know nothing of, yet the quiz also looks nice and could also be Featured. I chose his Planets one because it appeals to more people).

Countries of the World Quiz - But the Wrong Countries Light Up is a very long quiz name for a simple quiz. The quiz is exactly what the title says - whatever country you type won't be lit up, rather another country will be instead. This quiz is a true test of your geography knowledge, since it's basically naming countries without a map, but instead you have distractions to throw you off. This quiz is also Feature worthy in my opinion.

His Country Characteristics quizzes make up the bulk of his quizzes. With over 200 quizzes in this series alone, he contributes most of his quizzes to appending to this series. The quizzes that stand out to me the most are his quizzes with the title "Countries That..." or "Countries With...". There are Featured quizzes on the site like these, and I think, with the sheer number of quizzes hi has, that at least one should be Featured by now. It's simply naming countries that fit the category of the quiz, something people love to try and guess. He has many other quizzes in this series that don't fit these titles, but that are just as good.

Of course, hi has many many other good quizzes which you should go check out HERE. The quizzes above are just what I think are some of his best, and that might receive recognition from Quizmaster. I can't tell you which quizzes are his best, as that is up to hi himself. I can simply recommend the ones I like.

hi doesn't have many blogs, and most of the blogs he does have are in series. He has a few blogs not in series, and those blogs stick out. Because of the limited selection, I will simply recommend you go read them all anyway. They all look amazing, so go check them out here.

hi is somewhat active in the community, but not very. He was not on the Message Board a lot, but still left occasional comments. He does comment on many of my quizzes and blogs, and I'm assuming it's the same for others too. He's kind of mysterious honestly, but his quizzes deserve more attention either way.

Well, that wraps up this blog. Overall, I'm just suggesting you support this user. He makes really good content that tends to go unnoticed. Not always, but sometimes.
