A new Virus has been unleashed upon the world of JetPunk. The people have eaten contaminated Jeppyfish and now the virus is spreading rapidly. It's infecting every country currently at war in this Simulation, and only you have the power to stop its spread. It's known as the Jeppy Epidemic, as it has only infected a few countries right now. These countries are:

Each infected country will need to spend Fisks to try and stop the Jeppy Virus from spreading. Right now, the Virus is contained within each country. This means that each of the countries listed above are focused on trying to eliminate the Virus. These countries have a few options:

Option 1: Spend 30 Fisks for an immediate cure of the Virus within your country. By doing this, the Virus is stopped from ever harming your country again, and you can continue the game as normal.

Option 2: Ignore the Virus. By doing this, the Virus will continue spreading, infecting you and other countries. If the Virus is infecting your country, you must follow these rules:

- You can only buy one item until the Virus is cured within your country. This means you can only win one possible fight, while your opponent is guaranteed to win the other fight. If you cure the Virus before the next battle, then you can buy items for both fights again. If you do not cure the Virus, then you can only buy one item for the next battle.

-  For each battle that passes, the immediate cure cost for the Virus decreases by 5 Fisks. So, when the next battle arrives, more countries may be infected, but the immediate cost for curing the Virus will be 25 Fisks for every country that is infected. Each battle that passes will also introduce new countries to the Virus (unless all infected countries cure the Virus immediately). This means that more countries will need to follow the same rules if you become infected. You can cure the Virus now for the price of 30 Fisks, or take the risk and wait until the price decreases.

Option 3: Receive/Send foreign aid for the Virus. If you receive foreign aid, this means that another country will give you the cure. However, to receive this foreign aid, you must pay 15 Fisks upright to the country which you are buying from. This is a transaction, meaning the receiving country will receive the cure for the Virus (immunity), while the giving country will receive 15 Fisks. If you cure the Virus in this way, you can also send foreign aid if needed.

- Note: Only countries that have cured the Virus can send foreign aid. Any infected country can ask for foreign aid. If you are infected and want foreign aid, comment on this blog itself so everyone can see your distress call.

The benefit to foreign aid is that you only have to pay half the price for the cure. The downside to foreign aid is that no one has to help you. The Virus will spread if not eliminated, so players may not care about you.
