The Nova-Cat War - A First Hand Account

Very recently, something big has happened between two well-known JetPunk users. A small spark has ignited into a fierce fire, and, in the midst of it all, stands a friendship still intact. Will it last? Get the juicy first-hand details and everything else you need below.

The two users involved in this war are KiloNova, my best bud, and myself, LuckyCat. I consider Kilo to be my best bud because he is, no doubt about it. Nothing has stood in the way of our friendship... until now. So why has this conflict arose so suddenly?

Well, once upon a time, Kilo and I were simple little quizmakers, each of us creating niche quizzes. We consistently took each other's quizzes, giving feedback and leaving nice comments. Around August or so (I don't know exactly when), Kilo started publishing blogs, which were of great quality for him not being experienced in the art yet. A few months later in October, I made my own first blog. After this, we both kept producing quizzes and blogs, growing our channels' popularity. Our names were well known among the community, and we were acknowledged as the great friends we were.

This happiness carried on for months and months, and a new year fell upon us. 2025. But little did I know this year, and very first month at that, would change my own quizmaking 'career' forever.

Before this year, neither my nor Kilo had any Featured quizzes. We each had our own well-made quizzes, but had not gotten the necessary attention to get a Feature out of them. I dreamed of one day getting my first Feature, and I'm sure Kilo has also thought of this as well. I presumed my first Feature would likely come this year in 2025, but didn't know when. I was simply hoping. Surprise! A Feature came almost immediately, for me at least.

My first Featured quiz is Flags With Gravity (feel free to get some easy points), and before the feature, it had received some very nice attraction from the community, aka my friends. Accumulating a whopping 22 nominations , the most I've gotten by double, people showed that they loved this quiz. When I had published this quiz, I was not expecting it to preform so nicely to be honest. I just thought it was a nice idea that had surprisingly (for me) never been made before. So, I created it and sent it out around the end of January.

This is when it all changed. I was in school when I got the notification. It was Quizmaster himself messaging... me? I thought what could he want, I'm a nobody... but his notification was clearly about my Gravity Quiz. This got me sweating a little, since I knew this quiz was somewhat popular. We exchanged words, and not 10 minutes later, my quiz was Featured.

I was, as any small quiz creator would be, in dismay at what just happened. This was my dream come true, and it had come so soon in my opinion. I wasn't expecting this to be the quiz, but I understand why it was. People loved it, and Quizmaster recognized that. This made my day, and I would remember this moment for all my JetPunk career.

Unfortunately, this moment wasn't all sunshine, kittens, and rainbows. Yes, I got a comment from all my friends congratulating me on my first Feature and complementing my excellent work of a quiz. Even a few famous quizmakers commented something nice! But, one of these comments was from my bestie KiloNova.

It reads, "😭😭😭 I was just making this quiz 😭".

That literally made my stomach turn, since I wasn't expecting my bestie to react this way. I felt bad about this, since at the time of his comment, my quiz was in fact not Featured yet. So, when it did get Featured, it was almost like a slap to the face for Kilo, which just made me feel worse.

I tried not to let this get in the way, and expressed my sorrow towards Kilo's unfortune. I simply made the quiz idea before he did, and got recognition for it. This could have all been Kilo's, but I'm the one to claim the benefits.

My quiz began racking up takes in no time, and it felt amazing. Soon after this, however, I published the other quiz. Flags With Gravity #2. Quizmaster had subscribed to my account, and I hoped that it I made a sequel (proposed by McKenzieFam) for the original, that Quizmaster would recognize it too, and possibly Feature it. I made it well, putting in the same love and care as the first. When I published it, I don't think it took 5 hours before Quizmaster Featured this one too.

Now, I stand with two Featured Quizzes. Not 5 days ago I had zero. Things really changed for me, as I've gained maybe three thousand takes in just the past few days. I was honestly quite lucky to receive such positive feedback, and even large quizmakers noticed my quizzes before they got Featured. I'm truly happy, but things took a little turn after.

Especially after my second quiz got Featured, but a little before that, Kilo spoke out. He wanted war. With me.

The fact that I had barely beaten him to publishing the gravity quiz idea, and gotten a Feature for it (especially the second one), had stirred the tension that had been brewing. Kilo proposed the following:

Quite unexpected for me, as I had never thought I would be going to battle against my best friend. However, I humbly accepted like the respectful Cat I am, and now, we are at war. A quiz war.

If JetPunk wasn't made to compete against people to see who can get the most takes, I don't know why it was made. This war is official, and the rules are simple: whoever gets the most takes this year wins.

I think I'm off to a pretty good lead, and frankly I don't think Kilo stands a chance. I'm sorry little one.

The people have spoken. My reign is just beginning. You haven't seen my true power. I will end you.

This is honestly very true. Kilo, buddy, pal, best friend, it's already over. There... there is no war. This will be a slaughter, and you're on the receiving end of the bloody massacre. But, I will not step down. I'm not a coward. I will fight you like the ferocious little kitty cat I am. And it will be one hell of a ride.

So, now you know the details. Why there is so much tension. Why the war is even happening. It all comes down to the history between us, and the events that lead to me getting two featured quizzes. It could have been Kilo, or anyone really. But it was me. And now, I'm fighting a war to defend my honor.

Well, I find it entertaining. It adds some spice to a peaceful pair of JetPunkers, and may go down in JetPunk history (probably not lol). If Kilo gets a Featured quiz, which may happen sooner than I think, I may not be smiling as much as I am right now writing this. But alas, my quizzes are only now getting attention, and they will only be getting more takes every day. Soon, they will appear on the front page for all to see, and will receive even more attention than they are now. It's only a matter of time, and I think Kilo will need something big to even stand a chance. Good Luck bestie, you need it more than me.
