Chapter 5 - A Perfect Plan

"Infinite possibilities," I tell myself. Well, I don't actually know if there are infinite possibilities or not, because this isn't Google. This is a quiz website.

Traveling across the world back to the endless blue wall didn't take any time at all thanks to Jeppy the Jet. With this new speed upgrade, I'm not wasting any energy with the amount of steps I have to take. Now, all I have to do is hop on Jeppy's back and press "Autopilot". I needed a faster mode of transportation than simply walking, and I got one.

Once I reach the Search bar I press the "Off" button on Jeppy and slow down. I hop off when the gliding comes to a stop and land in front of the mini keyboard.

Looking at the search bar once again I begin to brainstorm more ideas of "quizzes" I could go to. I don't need any more food, and if I do, I can always come back here and pocket some more. What I do need is a way to carry things. A backpack would be nice, or even a wagon, since Jeppy is technically a horse. I decide on a backpack since putting everything on Jeppy's back doesn't sound pleasing to me. I don't even know if a wagon would work. But then I get a new thought. "WAIT!" I shout.

The answer to all my problems seems quite obvious when I think about it. What do I need? A way to carry things, food, water, tools, shelter maybe, and potentially so much more. What specific quiz could give me everything I need all at once? This is the thought I just had, and it makes so much sense.

"Minecraft," I say. "Minecraft has everything I need, and everything I could ever need." From shulker boxes and chests to agriculture and buckets, from blocks of wood and stone to tools and armor, Minecraft has it all. As I'm staring at the mini keyboard in front of me I bring my hands up and, without thinking, type "Minecraft" into the search bar. There's no need to think about this, Minecraft is the solution to all my problems.

I turn around and see that the floor is once again completely transformed, with all the quizzes about Minecraft right here. So, I get back on Jeppy and ride towards the large list of words on the ground. Once at the top, I recognize the same "Quizzes" word in a dull blue box that I saw when I typed in "Food" earlier. I also see the same vibrant orange stars on my right with words on the left. It's all upside down, but being able to fly makes reading the words so much quicker. I toggle the "Off" and "Autopilot" buttons to slow down or speed up as I read each sentence.

The first sentence reads "Minecraft Mobs".

"I definitely don't need any mobs, I have a horse already," I tell myself.

The second sentence says "Minecraft Ores". This could be useful, but I'm hoping to find a more specific quiz. If I don't I can come back to this one. I keep flying, reading each sentence. Moving past most of the quizzes I don't need, I reach one that says "Can You Name Every Minecraft Block and Item? [Java 1.21]". "Perfect," I gleam.

This quiz is the one I stop on, and I hop off Jeppy. I know this quiz is up-to-date because it's the most recent version of Minecraft, being Java 1.21. I know it will have everything I need, or at least it should. So, I kneel down, touch the sentence with my hand, and "NO, JEPPY!"

As the world around me goes fuzzy again, I see Jeppy just floating by my side where I left it. A flash of white briefly blinds me, and when I regain my sight, I breathe a huge sigh. Jeppy is still there.

"I thought I lost you!" I bawl out. I wrap my arms around as much of Jeppy as I can, which isn't a lot, but still enough to calm myself down. I then come to the realization that Jeppy has no feelings and I'm hugging an inanimate object. Stop laughing, you would too if you bonded with a cursor in a computer and thought you lost it. Jeppy is my best friend. I can't lose Jeppy.

Anyway, I look around. I see the title of the quiz in those same big, black, blocky letters. In front of that is an uncountable quantity of smaller letters that I'm not going to read. In the distance I see an absolutely massive Minecraft dirt block. "I know I'm in the right place," I say.

All that I need is... a lot. But how am I supposed to find anything here? This question stays in my mind, and I don't have a good answer for it, that is, until I remember another crucial aspect of computers: ctrl-f. Ctrl-f is so vital because it allows you to search for any specific character on a website's page. If I'm able to ctrl-f, I can find exactly what I need. So, I get back on Jeppy and glide towards the mini keyboard under the search bar. Once I get there, I press ctrl + f, which opens a whole new box above the search bar. It's position is very high up and to the right quite a bit, but I definitely can't reach it.

"Maybe I can take the keyboard with me," I wonder. If I can, then I won't have to keep going back to it every time I need to type something. I grab the keyboard and it detaches easily from the wall, not broken or anything. "Great!" I tell Jeppy, who listens intensively to everything I have to say. Now, if and when I need to, I can ctrl-f to find what I need.

With the keyboard in my hands, I ride with Jeppy to the massive dirt block I see in the distance, hoping to find something there.

When I arrive, I don't see anything special besides a big chunk of dirt. So, I ride around it and... see nothingness. Great. "Maybe what I'm looking for is beyond the nothingness," I think. This could be plausible, and I get the opportunity to explore. I decide to ride off into the empty plain in front of me.

As I glide on autopilot, I glance to my right. A black wall. With my knowledge of computers, I assume this is the frame of the screen, since I know I'm inside the screen. I then glance left, and see a table on the floor, similar to the one filled with quizzes I saw earlier. "Let's take a detour Jeppy."

We approach the table, and I try to toggle the "Off" and "Autopilot" buttons again to control my speed. As I fly by the table, bright red stars stand out easily. Blue words also catch my attention at the bottom of the table, and I stop when I reach them. Upon inspection, they form the sentence "More quiz info" with ">>" next to it. Using my immense knowledge of computers again, I realize that this is a link since the letters are blue. None of the other letters I've seen have been blue besides the quizzes I've clicked on. Maybe this could give me what I need. If it doesn't, the keyboard does have a "←", which should let me go back in time, or something.

I hop off Jeppy once more, and click on the link. I know Jeppy will follow me when the screen changes, so I don't scream this time. However, the screen doesn't completely change. The world around me goes dark for a moment, and when it lights back up, the table below me has changed. Below me is another table inside the table. Why? I don't know, but I can't see a whole lot from where I'm standing. I get on Jeppy for a better view, and push him this time instead of turning on autopilot.

I glide slowly down the table, reading words that don't particularly make me leap with joy. However, it's when I reach the end of this table that I see another blue link which says "Quiz and answer stats" with another ">>" next to it.

"I can't ask for more," I say, relieved I found the exact words I wanted to. Jittering with excitement at the sight of these wonderful words, I press this link. This time, the world flashes white, and I know I'm being taken to another page, hopefully with elements of Minecraft that can help me.

To be continued...

Hope you liked this chapter!

Also, sorry about the long chapters. I've noticed that I've been making them longer, so I'll try to cut them back a little next time.

I meant "NO, JEPPY!", because our protagonist is screaming...

Glad the chapter length isn't too long

I would prefer longer blogs too, so we don't have to wait in pain for more

Well, writing longer blogs would take a longer amount of time, so you'll be waiting either way friend. lol

Thanks for the feedback, I'll keep the current length and maybe try to extend the next chapters if I can. I usually try to end each chapter on a cliffhanger or just where I think fits best to keep yall wanting more. We'll see...
