Amount of public swimming pools in the world

The first public swimming pool was the St George's Baths in 1828 in Liverpool, in the 1830s, baths began to rise in Europe and in the late 1870s, the United States also followed with baths in big cities as Boston, Chicago and New York. Around the 1890s, other continents also joined, most of them were colonial territories with baths that were build by europeans. In the 1940s, Other continents began there own baths with there own networks, influenced by European and American standards.
