Riddle #9

Katy is in her hotel room when someone knocks at her door. Opening it, she sees a man who she has never met before and does not recognize. The man blushes, embarrassed. He apologizes and explains that he must have gotten his own room number confused with hers. The man leaves and Katy immediately calls security. Why?

Riddle #11

A Spider Monkey, a Peregrine Falcon, and an Eastern Grey Squirrel are racing to get the fruit from the top of a palm tree. The falcon can fly, but might eat the squirrel instead. Riddle #14

All right, let's have a trickier one to finish off with..

Riddle #15

Three ships are sailing to England: the Deliverance, the Odyssey, and the Triumph.

One of the ships is docking at Cowes, one at Dover, and one at Newhaven.

One of the ships is arriving at 1pm, one at 2pm, and one at 3pm.

The Deliverance is docking later than the ship arriving at Dover.

The ship arriving at Cowes has a name that is later in the alphabet than the ship docking at 1pm.

The ship arriving at Newhaven is docking at an odd-numbered hour.

Using this information, figure out the time and place of each ship's docking.

OK, that's it for this edition of ThinkTank Riddles! As usual, I will post the answers in the comment section after a week. Happy riddling!

I believe 10 has multiple answer depending on interpretation, but I suspect the conventional answer involves two steps of addition and one step of subtraction. The order in which this is done does not depend on the first three sets given,

e.g., 2 +2—2+2 = 4, but also 2-2+2+2 = 4.

On the other hand, 1213 has distinct numbers can could be

1-2+1+3 = 3

or

1+2 —1+3 = 5

or

1+2 +1—3 = 0

#2: it falls on the ground, somebody picks it up and throws it back. another solution would be for you to be compressed below the schwarzschild radius and turn into a black hole, pulling the ball back. or the wind blows it back

gastronomy for #3

#8: his sister killed his mother

#9: the man is a wanted criminal she saw on police mugshots (or whatever u call these)

#10: 1111 = 11 and 11. 1+1=2 and 1+1=2. average of 2 and 2 is 2 so the answer is 1+2=3 and 1+3=4 and average is 3.5

#14: dwight is a farmer and has chickens. wait nevermind, he has a dog named TWO

Lol you'd have to be really good at throwing, to put a ball into low Earth orbit you'd need to throw it at like 28,000 kilometers per hour
