Intro
Hello there! I have finally made 100 quizzes :).
But this isn't an ordinary milestone because I thought it'd be more interesting if I gathered statistics of my quizzes, with each quiz being a convenient 1% of a whole!
Sadly, there are no pie charts in JetPunk's Charts Section, so I'll be making the charts Canva, and will insert the image here, along with a brief description and my thoughts about it, I guess.
Chart 1. Nominations
So far, I have collected a total of 36 nominations.
The quiz with the most (5) is Click to Translate - Morse Code.
For some reason, I have 16 different quizzes with one nomination each. I suspect that someone may have been nominating all of them, but I won't name names (unless they speak up).
I found that two of my most nominated quizzes are actually additions to someone else's series (I gave credit), which shows that people like quizzes with non-original ideas.
Chart 2. Number of quizzes for each quiz type
This chart is representiing how many of each quiz type I have used.
I have a lot of multi-choice quizzes because it is the mode I started out on. I made a Themed General Knowledge Questions series. Even though it wasn't the most-well made and wasn't the most popular, I really enjoyed making quizzes through the multi-choice quiz format (please note that I don't like taking multi-choice quizzes...) (also, part of the enjoyment was reading the occasional encouraging comments from Sasqwolf (occasional as in he didn't comment to every quiz, not that he only occasionally had encouraging things in his comments))
After, I started expanding the quizzes I made - I tried tile select, which was fun, but hard to think of good ideas.
Then, I started making Bible quizzes through text quizzes and click quizzes, which went quite well, I guess.
Chart 3. Number of takes
This is my quizzes by number of takes! Sadly, almost half of my quizzes have less than 30 takes. This is probably due to my earlier series being not-the-most-popular
The quizzes with the most takes are the ones which have been spotlighted by other users (@Kilo, I'm still confused. Did you spotlight my quiz or not???). Thanks!
Interestingly, most of my Bible by Letter quizzes somehow fall into the 51-75 takes section, which suprises me. I think it is because of the spotlight I received on Bible by Letter - M, which boosted up takes for most/all quizzes in the series
Chart 4. Series
As you can see (hoping no one is blind!), almost more than half of my quizzes are in either my Bible by Letter or Themed General Knowledge Question Series. I guess I continued with them because I thought (at that time) that they were quite successful, and I enjoyed making them (a lot!)
Side note: The private series is one that I made, not knowing there were around 4 of the exact same series (plural) (one of which is made by LuckyCat), all with different, similar titles.
Another note: Starting from Bible by Letter, going clockwise is the takes order (excluding 'ungrouped')
Chart 5. Quizzes by (Main) Theme
*Please note that some of these are estimates!
In case you're wondering, the 4 food quizzes are:
Vegetables - Sudden Death
Fruit - Sudden Death
Top 10 Fruit Producers World-Wide - Sudden Death
Top 10 Vegetable Producers World-Wide - Sudden Death
BANANA (I personally like this quiz a lot!)
Concussion
I've had a lot of fun. :) Now I have to submit this blog before the 101st quiz comes out...
(Sorry if this isn't good enough of a 'milestone' blog. I've tried to make it interesting yet relevant!)
- Yours Sincerely, MeMeMe333
Congrats tho, 100 is a number thats bigger than 67
Congrats on 100 takes though, and interesting charts! Makes me want to make some of my own. I love data
Keep it up!
Also, hate to be that guy, but it should be "Conclusion" instead of "Concussion", and "101st" instead of "101th"
I've also been tired of writing 'conclusion', and want to do something more interesting
Maybe next time you can try something like "Final Thoughts" or "Closing Thoughts". Those mean the same as "Conclusion" but sound less academic, which might be what you're looking for. Also they're better in that they don't confuse people like "Concussion" does.
(Just a suggestion, it's up to you whether to follow it)
I didn't mean to confuse you :( Sorry.
I'll write something about that in another blog, I guess.
