Interesting Facts Can Kill #5

Intro

Welcome to Interesting Facts Can Kill #5!

Yay! I've been quite busy recently, in school, so this issue has came out with a larger gap between the last issue.

But, just like every other Interesting Facts Can Kill blogs, I will be DANGERFYING the facts in the Interesting facts, page, page 5, this time!

21. The Greek island of Santorini was devastated by a huge volcanic eruption around 1600 BC. Some people think that this event inspired the myth of Atlantis

*🚨DATA BREACH ALERT🚨*

This fact is extremely dangerous!!!!!!!!!

Is is obviously so, as it is clearly encouraging people to cause myths. About myths. About natural disasters. This will confuse a lot of people...

It is encouraging people to become paranoid at the slightest natural disaster, causing myths. And then people are unsure what caused the original myth, causing them to think that people had become paranoid about the original disaster, causing a myth about it.

In conclusion, this fact is encouraging people to paranoidly make myths about people paranoidly making myths about natural disasters. This will cause people to want to do it, making more paranoid myths (btw, the contents of this blog is not considered a paranoid myth!!!)

*🚨END OF DATA BREACH ALERT🚨*

22. The English Channel is known to the French as La Manche. Translation: "The Sleeve"

Uh... Sorry, I have no knowledge in French... (And don't really know anyone who speaks French very well (very well)).

Well...

I once saw a poster in the library at my school. It looks something like this(The picture in the library looks better, ngl. Couldn't find a good, working picture online of it):

🍟📚Don't eat in the library!📚🍟

🍟📚🐜Ants🐜will🐜get🐜in.🐜🐜

📖🐜They will learn how to read!📖🐜

Knowledge is power...

Power corrupts...

🐜🌏So ants will become evil and take over the world!! 🌏🐜

And if ants want to take over the world, they will need to learn geography.

So they will go on JetPunk.

And will see the IF page fact:

"The English Cannel is known to the French as La Manche. Translation: "The Sleeve".

Since the ants are smart, they will infer that their first step to world domination is: Crawl in people's sleeves. And while it isn't potentially life-threatening for us, it will be extremely annoying. And will buy time for the master-mind ants (not the ones which crawled in our sleeves) to create a (better) master plan.

Side note: Please don't eat in libraries. This may actually happen...

23. TOO LONG...

Noo...

23. Europeans brought many diseases to the New World. But they may have brought one back. The earliest recorded European outbreaks of syphilis happened shortly after Columbus returned from his first voyage.

The title was too long to put in...

Well, this fact is a fact encouraging people to transmit diseases. I bet my classmates all read this fact and started coughing in my face...

No wonder I became sick... 😡

This fact is telling people that it is possible to transmit diseases to each other.

And doesn't mention the dangers of doing so.

This fact is a health hazard, and should be quarantined, isolated, disinfected and have an article written about it in the WHO. Or McKenzieFam's Medical Conditions of a JetPunker blog as a potential health hazard.

24 Syphilis has been called "The French Disease" by Italians, "The Italian Disease" by the French, and "The Christian Disease" by Arabs. In reality, it probably came from the  New World .

Yipee... QM is really in to syphilis recently (like colossal squids in Interesting Facts Can Kill #1)!

Well... This fact is yet another fact which accidentally caused people to create myths and blame things on others. And they are teaching people to play the blame game. And in the end, it is blamed on the people who were killed by diseases transmitted by the people who are blaming the people who are transmitting diseases... Ok. Too long now. And even I am starting to blame things on people...

See? This fact is dangerous, and a bad example!!!

25 In Jewish mythology, Adam had a wife before Eve. Her name was Lilith.

If you're not into faith/religion, and don't like it, be warned. In your opinion, this section will be full of 'yap'. But I cannot help it... Reading is recommended, though!

This fact is dangerous, as it doesn't go with the Protestant Bible. Last time someone lied to God, they...

Died on the spot (Bible story).

Also, it might mislead people, and they won't follow God (probably the most dangerous part!). Then they won't go to heaven and be saved :(. And this fact is also teaching people that they can make fake myths and mythologies that mislead people, and feed them lies.

Useful Bible links (worth reading. If you want, try criticise the people writing the content, I'm sure they'd give you reasonable answers, with plenty of proof):

Creation Ministries

Bible project

Good ol' Bible. ESV and NIV versions are recommended, but it is all based on the Bible, just different translations.

Also, Stewart did not give permission to start a Christian Group on JetPunk, and I should listen to him. I won't make it now, without his permission, but will continue advocating for it.

His reason was that when creating groups which exclude certain people, it sometimes gives negative outcomes:

"I cannot advocate this. JetPunk generally does not allow for segregate groups like this, as it excludes specific members of the community and often leads to negative outcomes."

So I won't be able to make the group now. I may ask him again sometime, and if you're interested or anything please tell me :)

Also, the sites provided are a must see!

Milestones

A few days ago (upon reading TigerPl/Tayger's milestone blog. Congrats on 100K takes, btw.), I went to check my quiz takes - And it had reached...

(Still implementing Capybarra's tactic)

2000 TAKES!!!

Which is a lot, in my opinion. (the bigger the milestone, the more lines used)

And also, since the third Interesting Facts Can Kill blog, I had gained at least three nominations, which mean a lot to me. :) (the nominations and comments about nominating my quizzes don't match up though...)

Thanks for the people supporting me. These are the main ones so far:

Sasqwolf - For constant comments, support and inspiration

LuckyCat - For support, teaching me stuff, fun quizzes

Capybarra - Blog (and hyperlink) help, and also hosting extremely fun game (somehow I am in the final 12!)

Teqau/Tekau - For encouraging me, and nominating a quiz

Anonymousbear25 - Encouraging me on a quiz I though no one would like

Tayger - Nominating my quiz, encouraging me. Congrats on the huge milestone!

I think there are a lot more people, sadly not mentioned, in terms of inspiration and comments. Hopefully this list, after a few years, will be longer than Capy's longest blog! 😄

Conclusion (Finally not questioning it's existence)

(Questions the conclusion's existence)

Thanks for reading, and I hope this issue is much more interesting (and longer. Thanks, Capy) than the last!

Hope you enjoyed!

A bit late... This is from BautyArg's request. Dunno how to put gifs on, though.
