JetPunk Taskmaster - Episode 1

This is a recreation of the popular TV show Taskmaster! We are your hosts, Minecraftyoshi2 and Capybarra!

For this episode, four contestants faced off in three tasks and us hosts have added up the point totals to determine a winner!

The winner of each task gets four points, the runner-up gets 3, 3rd place gets 2, and the last place finisher gets one.

This episode's contestants are KiloNova, TigerPl, Gademotsili99, and LuckyCat!

The points have been tallied, and it's not even close..

As you may have noticed, Minecraftyoshi2 was putting comments around the site that said "Cool". Participants had to respond to those comments saying "Beans". For every one that they spotted, they earned a point. The person that found the most earned the most points wins the task, and gets four points added to their total. Like said earlier, second place gets three, third gets two, and fourth gets one.

Now I will reveal the results!

Like I said, it wasn't even close. Lucky found twelve, Tiger found one, and Gade and Kilo found none.

For this second task, the four participants were divided into two teams of two. The two teams were Kilo and Lucky, and Gade and Tiger (Team USA vs Team Euro). Their goal was to tell a story about Gary, Indiana by using only one word at a time and alternating between teammates. Whichever team had the better story about Gary, Indiana according to the taskmaster (Capybarra), would earn four points each, while the losing team would earn two points each.

Here is Team USA's story!

The story did fit the theme, since it mentioned Gary, but there is literally nothing in the story except for those two words, so this story gets a 2/10.

Here is Team Euro's story!

Once upon a time in Indiana, there was a man who invented something funny. It has extrordinary appearance and very classical characteristics of a lion, having a tail and a huge head. It was loud and smelly. The man was asleep when someone tried to steal his invention. Fortunately, someone saw him and called the police. When they arrived they arrested the thieves and drank a lot of whiskey with vodka.

This story is well made, but there is one MAJOR problem. It doesn't mention Gary anywhere, and that was the point of the task. However, this is well made enough to where it gets a 5/10. It would, however, be higher if it mentioned Gary. That doesn't matter though, as 5/10 is a better score than 2/10, so Team Euro gets the win.

For this third challenge, the participants had to find a gift for the taskmaster that didn't exceed 200 yen (2.09 USD, 1.22 EUR) The participant didn't have to actually buy the gift. They just had to link it in the private group. We will now take a look at all the gifts!

TigerPl's gift:

This is the gift TigerPl gave the taskmaster (me), and I will be sharing some feedback.

This does meet the criteria, so this gift does count. However, I absolutely hate clowns so I probably wouldn't like it too much. (sorry Tiger) Also, that Joker looks like it would break in the first two hours of having it.

KiloNova's gift:

This is the gift KiloNova gave the taskmaster (me), and I will be sharing some feedback.

This meets the criteria, so this gift counts. This challenge was originally posted around Easter, so this gift fits the theme of the time being. I also do love peeps, so this is fitting. However, my brothers also love peeps, so they would likely steal them all and these would be gone faster than Tiger's gift. If they somehow don't, then I would likely eat them all in the first five minutes of having them.

Gademotsili99's gift:

This is the gift Gademotsili99 gave the taskmaster (me), and I will be sharing some feedback.

This meets the criteria, so this gift counts. Gade knows I like capybaras, so he chose capybara bookmarks. However, one of the bookmarks says "Be Cappy" and my JetPunk nickname is Capy, not Cappy. I thought people were done with misspelling my name! Also, I am not obsessed with capybaras anymore. (The only reason I haven't changed my name is because I can't think of a good name to change it to.)

LuckyCat's gift:

This is the gift LuckyCat gave the taskmaster (me), and I will be sharing some feedback.

Wait.. this blog looks a little short on the scrollbar, so maybe I should add some room to make it longer.

There was a bonus task available, where the winner would get two points, while everyone else would get none. However, nobody did the bonus task so there will sadly be no bonus tasks available.

It looks like TigerPl has won this episode of taskmasker, and will go on to advance to the grand finale, which will consist of the winners of all four episodes of taskmasker.
