Did You Know
JetPunk started out as essentially a travel agency where you could search for flights, later you could search for hotels, and in September of 2008, quizzes started showing up, the first quiz: Countries of the World Quiz, which today has become JetPunk's most taken quiz. The quizzes eventually expanded into other genres. In 2011 JetPunk allowed users to make their own quizzes. Those quizzes became JetPunk's main feature. The JetPunk fish Jeppy was introduced around the same time. They introduced a point system; you could get up to five points depending on how well you did on a quiz and recently made it a requirement that you must be level 40 and have six months on JetPunk before making blogs such as this one. One of JetPunk's creators, Dan Hostetler is commonly known on the site as the Quizmaster. JetPunk has over 20,000 geography quizzes. In August of 2024 JetPunk quizzes had been played one billion times. JetPunk was mentioned in the Hindustan Times and has featured in many YouTube videos including a couple by YouTuber GeoWizard (ex: Jetpunk - Naming the 100 biggest cities in Europe)
