Max Frost & The Troopers

One day, I was listening to the original versions of songs that the Ramones covered, and I landed on Shape of Things to Come, the original by Max Frost & The Troopers. I went to their page on Apple Music to learn a bit about them and that's when I found it. " Max Forst And The Troopers were a fictional group..." At first, I was confused, then I kept reading. So, Max Frost & The Troopers were created for the 1968 movie Wild In The Streets. Christopher Jones played Max Frost and in the film He and The Troopers give 14-year-olds voting rights which leads to Frost becoming President of The United States. Frost then put anyone over 30 into concentration camps. Songs attributed to Max Frost & The Troopers were actually recorded by the 13th Power, and they released a bunch of songs, none of which really took off except for one Shape of Things to Come.

Yeah there's a couple of other fictional groups, or at least they all started out fictional like The Monkees, The Archies, and The Partridge Family
