Why is New Zealand Forgotten?

New Zealand is forgotten off of many maps and there aren't many reasons for this. One theory is that because New Zealand is close to the edge of the map, it would be easy to forgotten about. Whatever the reason is, it is pretty funny that people forget a country like New Zealand (of course not funny for the New Zealanders)

One time, our Prime Minister attending a multi-nation summit where their main map didn't have New Zealand on it

I’ve been there, so.. it’s real. Surreal as well. Crazy blue volcanoes, sparkling blue lakes, snow capped mountains, gorgeous beaches, stately forests, rooted honest people… and unimaginative place names, like North Island and South Island. ( The Māori ones are a bit more colourful).

Maybe it should be coloured red in maps do that people don’t miss it or forget to include it.

I'm pretty sure NZ isn't shown on maps because of the laser kiwi flag.

Been a while since someone did that, have to do it when people least expect it.

Their new tagline should be:

“Still hanging on, still here!”

As opposed to the “100 pure New Zealand” which is technically inaccurate. Maybe it’s 99.99999 % pure.

Or

“We haven’t fallen off the map yet.”
