Intro and Disclaimer
Hello, I want to make a blog about buildings damaged on 9/11.
Disclaimer: I DO NOT SUPPORT TERRORISM!
Twin Towers
The North and South Tower are the most well known in the original World Trade Center. However, it didn't just include of them. There were also some other buildings. We'll go over them later. For those not in America or don't know, on September 11, 2001, w planes hit the North and South Tower. At 8:46, the North was hit. At 9:03, the South Tower was hit. Also this was in the morning.
Marriott World Trade Center
World Trade Center 3 was a Marriott Hotel. It was in the worst possible spot. It was directly underneath the Twin Towers. After 9/11, a completely ruined hotel was left.
St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church
This church originally built in the 1830s was not part of the World Trade Center. After the South Tower collapsed at 9:59 AM, this church was destroyed.
World Trade Center 7
World Trade Center 7 was part of the World Trade Center. Rubble and debris from the North Tower rained on the tower. This building eventually collapsed at around 5 PM. I was too lazy to add an image, but just search it on the Internet.
World Trade Center 4, 5, and 6
These buildings were similar 8 to 9 story tall office buildings. When the Twin Towers collapsed, these were ruined. Although it didn't collapse, several parts did, these were eventually demolished.
Deutsch Banking Building
The Deutsch Banking Building was a 510 foot tall office building. It was nearby the WTC. Rubble from the South Tower ruined the facade. This building was soon demolished in 2011. It was deconstructed.
World Financial Center
Have you seen those Skyscrapers with those green roof? Well, these were damaged on 9/11. Luckily, these are still standing.
The Barclay-Vesey Building
This building was built in 1927, this was also near the WTC, this was partially damaged on 9/11. This is still standing to this day.
Pentagon
This building wasn't in New York City. This was a government building. A gas station next door has a footage of it.
Some Others
Now, I'll do this later, but yeah, I don't live in a New York City. I will do more research.
