Intro

The World Trade Center didn’t just consist of the Twin Towers, there were also some other buildings.

Twin Towers

These are the most iconic buildings of the World Trade Center.
The Twin Towers were once the tallest buildings in the world.

Marriott Hotel

There was a Marriott between the Twin Towers, the worst spot as it was destroyed after the towers collapsed.

This hotel was at the worst possible spot.

There were also some similar 8 to 9 story tall office buildings, they were destroyed in 9/11.

These buildings were similar.

World Trade Center 7 was a marble reddish design which was a 48 story tall office building.

This building collapsed in the afternoon of 9/11.

Other Buildings

There were also some other buildings not part of the World Trade Center but were destroyed or heavily damaged. Which include this small church called the St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, it was built in the 1830s. There was also the Deutsch Banking Center, which was eventually demolished in 2009. Due to the collapse of World Trade Center 7, a building across the street called the Fitterman Hall was heavily damaged, and it had to be torn down in 2009.

Casualties

That day was a tragic day, may the victims rest in peace.
