The First Female Prime Minister of a Muslim Majority Country
In 1988 Benazir Bhutto was elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, which she served as until 1990. She was Prime Minister again from 1993 to 1996. Hailing from a political family, her father was also President and Prime Minister of Pakistan, as well as her husband being the current President. Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in 2007.
The first Computer Virus
The world’s first computer virus was produced by two Pakistani brothers in Pakistan and first discovered in 1986. The virus was produced by the two brothers Basit Farooq Alvi and Amjad Farooq Alvi and was called the “Brain” virus. The virus targeted IBM computers.

Rafflesia Arnoldii is recorded as the largest individual flower on earth. This orangey, red, parasitic, five-petaled flower can grow up to 3 feet and weigh a hefty ten kilograms. It mostly grows in rainforests in Sumatra.
First Asian team in the World Cup
The first team to qualify for the FIFA World Cup in South East Asia was from Indonesia. The team was named as Dutch East Indies, and they played in France in 1938.

As a general rule, Maltese people are very fanatics, especially when it comes to their village feast. In each town, there is a minimum of one patron saint. If there is more than one, the village will hold two feasts and this means that the people supporting different patron saints will become rivals just for this week.
