Let’s explain stuff. Hockey.

If you are new to hockey, this blog is for you!

I recently have been watching on YouTube many soccer channels. I recommend some of them (they are Portuguese-speaking, but there is a thing called captions, and although they may not work, I don’t care). I also watch @Sport Stats, where there is a bar chart showing the winners of certain competition, with its anthems (to sum up, Chen’s Flourish). Listening them, I decided to do this series 🙃

What is Baseball? Baseball is a team sport played on a grass and dirt field in which 2 teams rotate trying to bat (hit the ball into fair territory) and field (try to defend). There are many clubs and teams across the world that play this sport, the most famous for kids, being little league. However, the sport costs a lot and needs a lot of equipment, but gets fun when you know how to play it.

What is cricket? Cricket is a sport that is played all around the world, mainly in former British colonies such as Australia, India, and South Africa. Cricket involves two teams of eleven players taking it in turns to bat and field, similar to baseball. The sport is believed to originate from the south of England around the 13th century but it was in 1975 that the first Cricket World Cup was held.

One more picking! Here are the results of Round 1, and the picks for the round 2!

Quite possibly the most critical buzzword in sports, "momentum" is an athletic phenomenon unlike any other. However, does it really exist, or is it all in our heads?

How can I come up with a better March Madness bracket this year? Mathematics to the rescue!

Can you make a 23-person team of footballers (plus a manager) using each letter of the alphabet once?

I am SWAT previously FerroequinoSWAT and before that CreativeSWAT. I changed my username because I know how complicated FerroequinoSWAT looks and sounds. This is my first blog about why I was known by FerroequinoSWAT and how I become a ferroequinologist. Despite being only SWAT now, I'll remain a Ferroequinologist forever.
