Quiz Creation Limits

In order to increase the visibility of high effort quizzes, we have instituted quiz submission limits that may affect some users.

By default, you will be able to submit up to 3 quizzes a day. Over time, this will be increased to 10 per day if certain quality metrics are met.

Note: Any quizzes scheduled in the future will be counted towards this 10. So if you have 5 quizzes scheduled for future submission, the limit per day will be 5.

Does it reset at midnight, or is 24 hours after making your first quiz, you can make another one, then 24 hours after your second, then 24 hours after your third? Or is it 24 hours after finishing your third quiz that you can submit all three again? Does Premium also influence the number of quizzes your able to make?

You can "make" any number of quizzes, this limit is only about submission. And it's a limit of 3 per 24 hour period, meaning after you submit the third one, you will have to wait until the first one is 24 hours old to be able to post a 4th.

Premium has no effect

What exactly are the metrics as well as the definition of a “high-quality” quiz? There was a previous comment about this issue, but I find being timed it is really annoying and I want to get my series published ASAP.

Quality is subjective, but most quizzes make it through. It is mostly just a filter for controversial topics or quizzes which are just filled with swears.

The reason for limitting users early on is to prevent newer users being able to spam so much. After a few weeks you should be able to have quizzes auto-approved.

Due to excessive spam and low quality content, the limit has been reduced to 10 quizzes a day. It is the only fair way to ensure users producing a small number of high quality quizzes get a similar visibility to those who just post 10 low quality quizzes a day.

I use submit so I can test my quiz but I'm not really submitting it. How can we test differently? Is this limit due to IT stuff (server I/O, storage, network trafffic) or because a submission sends some email/notification/whatever to the JP quiz staff? And how does quiz collaboration fit in, if at all?
