Yes, of course, you have Harvard there, and Smith and other Ivy League universities. But that doesn't "do it" to the whole state.
Is is because of the Puritan heritage? Have the Boston Brahmins done a really good job of maintaining their intellectual elitism in a really pervasive way?
I don't get it. I'd love to know.
