There are 3 different possible board sizes, each including progressively harder items. How fast can you match them all correctly and clear the board?

No, the point is not to make it easy, the point is to remove impossible confusion. Ireland and Ivory Coast are very clearly different flags, whereas Chad and Romania are practically identically.

The bug seems to be that if your computer was lagging, it would register time very slowly. I got "super fast" times that actually were much longer because my computer was lagging yesterday.

Yep, basically we added 100ms onto your time every 100ms. However if you computer was lagging, then the "waiting" period of 100ms could be extended, meaning when the function adds 100ms the time passed was likely different to that. To fix this, we now calculate the actual time passed every 100ms, so even if your computer lags, the time shown will always be accurate!

Yes, this idea was suggested to me already and will likely happen at some point in the future. It would need a reorganisation of the mode selector though, as simply adding one new option (e.g. capitals) would add possibly 6 new game modes, which would make the list very cluttered

There's a good way to remember which is which.

Ireland, also known as the Emerald Isle, so green goes first.

Ivory Coast (or Côte d'Ivoire) is close to the equator, where it is hot. Hotter colours are mainly red and orange, so orange goes first.

Then after the orange/green, it is white, then the other colour (orange or white.)

Same here. On Flags and Names, I managed to be 2nd on Easy, and 1st on medium and hard. Even though I'm sad this progress is gone, I'm glad that it is now fixed and everyone can play fair.

It is with great sadness that, after 24 hours of being live, we have had to reset the stats for Snap. It came to our attention that the timing system we were using was very easily manipulated, and not at all accurate on slower devices, which meant all scores achieved so far were not accurate on their time. Some even had scores as low as 0.8 seconds! (This would have permanently affected all leaderboards without a reset). We expect this to be a one-time issue.

We have now fixed this bug, and we apologise for all the scores being lost. We hope you continue to enjoy Geography Snap - now with accurate timing and complete fairness!

It's much quicker on mobile, as you aren't restricted by mouse movements. The fastest device is actually a tablet / touch screen laptop, since then you have the benefit of the desktop layout with the speed of finger tapping!

The blue writing for capital cities, if you want to differentiate it from the countries, is woefully inadequate. Either do white text on a black background, or change the text to bold and red (or something similar). Having it just blue makes the text look like a hyperlink, which almost everyone has trained themselves to ignore by 2021. If there is meant to be a difference, the difference means jack sh*t for what you have actually implemented.

First of all I wanted to tell you that I really appreciate the game, it's really cool and I love doing it. It's a lot of fun.

I know that you can never make everybody happy, and I'm sure that there are plenty of people that disagree with me, but I did find the blue text quite useful. That way you actually had four different categories and the pattern recognition part of ones brain is able to pick it up better. Maybe use another colour than blue, if it deters other people from clicking the text?

idk, I will continue to do the game either way, it is super fun. Though with worse times (for now at least). Thanks for making this great game, I really love it!

I noticed that the flag used for Peru is the common flag, with no coat of arms, but that the flag used for the country shape of Peru with the flag overlaid on it is the state flag, which does use the coat of arms. I'm not sure if this is intentional but I feel like for the purposes of this minigame, this should be changed to be consistent.
