Jim Kelly was in four super bowls. Had Buffalo won a few of them he would have been on the list. Great QB!

There is only room for ten quarterbacks. Brady, Favre, Elway, Marino, Manning, Montana, and Staubach are all better than Kelly for sure, and I never saw Unitas play, but most conversations put him right near the top of the list. That leaves Otto Graham and Sammy Baugh, each of whom may or may not be better than Kelly, but the list wants to cover all periods of the game to seem more credible, so they're going to include a few really old guys. Brees didn't make it either, and he's probably than Kelly too.

Gates definetly should've been on here. No way is he not a top 5 tight end ever. Kelce also deserves some love, but his career is a little too short. Come on dude.

Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Polamalu lined up in the C-Gap.

I see that you're paying tribute to many old players from the old football era, but some of this is outrageous. Running backs: Clark, Moore, and Motley? Who? What about Faulk, James, Peterson, Tomlinson, Dorsett, Allen, Davis, Harris, etc. Tarkenton, Warner, Starr, and Brees could've made QBs, but that's fine. Then WR: Hirsch, Warfield, can't be here. Owens, Bruce, Reed, Ward, Brown, Irvin, Carter, Johnson, maybe? And the DEFENSE! Atkins, Hewitt, Buchanan, White, Hendricks, Schmidt, Christiansen, Houston, Tunnell can't be here. What about Sapp, Strahan, Peppers, Jason and Sean Taylor, Youngblood, Davis, Singletary, Urlacher, Nitschke, Willis, Law, Atwater, Woodson, Revis, Polamalu, Renfro, Bailey, etc. This list disappoints on so many levels. Nice try, Quizmaster.

Actually, this is the official NFL Top 100 list made by the NFL itself. Sorry that you don't know any players from before the 2000s but most of these players deserve to be on here. I agree that some should've been on here over others, but they aren't gonna have the same opinion as everyone.

I wouldn’t say most…

The running backs he listed were all more deserving than Lenny Moore and Marion motley. Can you disagree that Marcus Allen and laidanian Tomlinson are top RBs?

Dick "Night Train"Lane played 1 year in Chicago for the Cardinals. Dick had his best overall years with the Detroit Lions. After he was done playing he worked several years in the the Lions organization...He should be listed as a Detroit Lion

I double-checked. He played several seasons for the Cardinals, winning 4 Pro Bowls there. He was named to the NFL's 1950s all-decade team. He didn't play for the Lions until 1960.

While there are parts of this quiz that are good, it seems kinda biased toward older players. Sure all of the players can't be newer, and many of the best were from decades ago, but that doesn't mean some more recent players can just be left out. Aaron Rodgers, Berry Sanders, Calvin Johnson, Drew Brees, LaDamien Tomlinson, Shaun Alexander, Aaron Donald, J.J. Watt, Tony Gonzales, Bo Jackson, Antonio Gates, Marshall Faulk, Jim Kelly, Terrell Owens (and so many more that I can't name off the top of my head) all deserve a place on this list. This list of the top players EVER in the NFL and it has 2 punters on it but none of the above players who in some cases (Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Terrell Owens) are in the top 10 in there position of all time. (Terrell Owens is top 3 statistically) It's a good list and a good quiz but I feel like it leaves out a lot of players who deserve to be on the list ahead of others.

Many stats are heavily influenced by changes to the style of play and rule book that have happened in the last 20-30 years. I'm not saying this list is perfect by any means, but to ignore all the legendary players from the pre-Super Bowl era based purely on inflated stats would be just dumb.
