If the question asked “which Chinese dynasty” you’d have a point

I got really stuck trying to come up with cities in the country of Georgia on the Black Sea for a bit.

Made this quiz years ago. Ditto the 1740’s, for which you used several identical questions to me. Just saying…

I don't know why, but I really like the rubber clue--bouncy tree product lol

Also, I can thank my boxes of 64 and 128 for the cobalt answer.

He didn't give it that name. Like Quakerism, it used a name that was originally meant as a slight mockery of the movement.

I definitely thought the "Georgia" question was referring to the country of Georgia (don't come at me, I'm not from the USA so I'm not familiar with small historical facts like that) and I took so long trying to think of a costal city that isn't overly obscure.

I did the same thing at first; it took a second for James Oglethorpe to register. And my son lives in Savannah!

Maybe specify that the bouncy tree product was introduced to *European* science at that time? The Olmec, Aztec, and Maya were using it long before. (You might argue that what they were doing was engineering rather than science, but that would be an overly strict definition of science, IMO.)

I can't even get historical sports questions right. I had an image in my head of British people walking around on a lawn, but I couldn't remember the word "cricket." Twice now.

I didn’t know if it was Georgia the country or Georgia the state, are you able to specify it?
