I love that spelling. Like, I'm fairly certain that was an error on the band's part, and it adds to the mystique. To the undying, boundless mystique of everyone's favorite band, period, Ace of Base.

I don't believe it was an error. Bass is a very different sounding word in connection to Ace. Base has a much better flow.

Carry - bass and base are homonyms...we aren't talking fish here
Level 81

It was originally Ace of Salmon, but there was a trademark dispute.

I caught you a delicious Ace of Bass.

Bass and base are homophones, but bass and bass aren't. None of them are homonyms, but ace and ace are.

7/20 - I am useless at 90's music. Now 80s - that's my forte!

60s is my time, too...I was a teenager then. But I still got 16/20. Somehow, I assimilated this stuff.

Only missed Vanilla Ice. I'd say that it was selective memory blocking out the painful parts, but then, I'd have to account for how I remembered Britney Spears, Hanson, Ace of Base, and most of the rest of this quiz.

SMH- I kept retyping "Gangsta Paradise" and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't take it. Damn you, Apostraphe S!
Level 60

I am sadly, not 'gangsta' enough to properly answer the Coolio question. :( I was trying every variant of "Gangster's Paradise" that I could think of, including adding in the previous line from the song. Ho hum.

May 22, 2015
Gangster's Paradise would have worked.
Level 82
Dec 3, 2017
No way. Real gangstas always use correct punctuation.
Level 66
Dec 4, 2017
Punctuation and spacing don't matter on Jetpunk quizzes anyway, I believe.

I wonder how that virginity thing worked out for Brit? I do know that if the first person I ever had sex with was Kevin Federline, I’d be pretty screwed up for life, too.
