I would argue that the star of Gigli's career has yet to reach its nadir...given the awfulness of the DC Comics movie onslaught...

I think it has to do with the performance itself. Affleck was terrible in Gigli, but a lot of fans and critics said that he was one of the best things about Batman v. Superman.

Halle Berry is considered black? Americans and their classification of skin colours are weird. I mean, it's arbitrary in any case, but there are certainly more shades than black and white (or more accurately, dark brown and light beige).
