I looked up pictures to see what you meant, and WOW. Made me all nostalgic for the time I was in Ireland. The Aran Islands have a similar "mystical" feel about them, as Skye indeed looks like it would have. They were my favorite part of my visit, of all Ireland, and that's saying something.
Capital of Greenland? Literally typed the most inuit word in four letters I could think of and I didn't even look ahead to the next answer. Total guess. Got it right.
County of England? Literally just typed in a word that sounded like it could be a county of England that started with K and had four letters. Total guess. Got it right.
There is no such thing as an emir in the UAE. They are called sheikhs, presidents, vice-presidents, but not emir. That's informal and can only be applied to other countries such as Qatar.
Something may be counterintuitive at first glance and still be true. Wikipedia: "The United Arab Emirates uses the title Sheikh instead of Emir to refer to the rulers of individual emirates." On a federal level, the UAE has the offices of president, vice president, and prime minister.
The Ruhr is definitely a heavily populated river valley in Germany... but the Elbe is way more populated... containing 5x as many people in its drainage area, including the somewhat prominent cities of Berlin, Hamburg, Dresden and Leipzig (plus Prague if you wanna go outside Germany).
Ruhr in English not only refers to the river, but most commonly to the region. Even if we take the clue literally, it says Ruhr valley, which is much more populated than the Elbe valley.
Very fun--5 stars. There has been some contention in recent years about which river is longest. Some sources I've come across consider the Amazon to be longer than the Nile.
probably no one
Not Louisiana, Paris, France, New York, or Rome, but--
